Vote Them Out. Demo on Sat 10 May & campaign aimed at getting councillors to speak.

I feel a full manifesto needs to be published as quickly as possible, that way people might make their choice based on what is actually being proposed. The longer that isn't available the greater the number of people who will have already made their minds up. A clear case for putting pressure on...

Vote Them Out. Demo on Sat 10 May & campaign aimed at getting councillors to speak.

A sensible idea. At the moment we are assured SISU are advancing with plans to build a new stadium so, taking them at their word, anything that happens in the elections will not impact of the club in the slightest. IMO the best route for Get Cov Back to the Ricoh to take would be to get an...

Vote Them Out. Demo on Sat 10 May & campaign aimed at getting councillors to speak.

So who on here, who lives in Coventry and is eligable to vote, would vote for Get Cov Back to the Ricoh based on the information currently available? Will be interesting to see as you would expect people on a CCFC forum to be the most likley to vote for them!

Why is it we've still only had the SISU side of this? Is the Higgs side not going to be made public, if not does that imply that the SISU side was leaked and didn't come through an official release of court documents?

Blimey, that's a hell of a lot to get done in 40ish days. You've got to find candidates, draft an initial manifesto, debate and alter manifesto until agreement is reached and then start campaigning. Don't count on getting any sleep for the next few weeks!

Didn't know they were both putting candidates forward in the local elections.

Interesting, a couple of questions spring to mind and hopefully Rob will be happy to answer as he's after votes! This needs a lot more detail, is there a website or somewhere to read a full manifesto? You can't really expect people to vote for you if they don't know what you're going to do...

Ricoh Train station finally on its way!

There's a lack of stadium tours this summer so it's the same for many other venues. Just one of those things that happens every few years as different artists use different touring cycles. Pretty certain it doesn't reflect in any way on the Ricoh which is very highly regarded as a concert venue.

I guess the "two" they were on about were...

The trust should push this above the council and up to the information commissioner, can certainly make an arguement that this should be disclosed in the public interest. Should get NT fans on board as well, sure they aren't going to want SISU trying to move us into their area.

    Higgs v SISU Court Document

Are we ever going to have a chance to see what evidence Higgs submitted? Seems odd that we haven't had access to that but have everything from SISUs side, did the documents we do have come through official channels or were they leaked?

    Leicester

Fisher stated at a fans forum less than 2 years ago that every penny put in by SISU had been converted to equity and therefore there's no debt. On that basis we're losing about £30m a year!

    On the Hill again

Without wanting to open a whole can of worms yet again there are 2 reasons: 1) Wimbledon themselves have moved on from this and turned up in large numbers themselves when they playing at MK, if the club involved have moved on and are not boycotting what is the point of anyone else boycotting...

    Next Seasons Stadium

But we all know councils can't loan money for this kind of thing, expect SISU to launch a JR any minute now! To be serious if SISU were to win the JR would there not be a knock on effect for other stadiums that have received council funding / loans or plan to do so in the future?

New owners of CCFC required ?

Not sure they haven't got quantity, they're got a squad of getting on for 40 at the moment and another 5 or 6 out on loan! They're still getting premier league parachute payments which cover that (the they're being paid straight to the PFA) so pretty much all income from this season is going...

    Leicester

Hasn't a lot of the money put into Leicester gone in as equity rather than a loan, or at least been covered to equity? Spending millions and not having to pay it back would be a nice position for anyone to be in.

So All down to the JR then.....

The Ricoh tea lady showed him.

    Court Conclusion

I've always been under the impression it was done as a short term thing to help out CCFC. I also thought the formula cost for Higgs share was nearer £10m but if we're talking about a moral argument and Higgs were helping out the club then I think you're correct you would expect them to not be...

New owners of CCFC required ?

This is an interesting point and one that probably needs its own thread. Even in a best case scenario where we started under new owners with zero debt and back at the Ricoh with access to all revenues without running at a loss how do you remain competitive? Look at Pompey this year, they have...

    Higgs v SISU Court Document

To be honest when they came in I thought they would be just what we needed. The business side of things seemed to be in such a poor state that the thought of someone coming in, turning that around, and then selling on at a profit was appealing to me. I worked on the basis that the only way you...
