    Portsmouth- what on earth

Wouldn't be so sure, they have pretty much a full squad in training they just can't formalise the signings till the CVA goes through, for which the deadline was Friday. Once that goes through expect to see a lot of signings very quickly and worrying they have players training with them who have...

    Sky blue special

think the biggest problem these days would be that different companies operate on different parts of the network but it's definitely something that would be worth the club looking into even if it wasn't for every match.

    Portsmouth- what on earth

Unbelievably the local council has agreed to loan the supporters trust nearly £1.5m of taxpayers money, not happy at all that my council tax is going to be covering their overspending.

    sounds like husseys gone then...

if he posted it this morning he could just mean the rest of the team have gone to Port Vale.

    Portsmouth- what on earth

I can't work out how it is in any way acceptable to have a former owner be the person being lined up to take control again. Surely anyone who has had a hand in this mess shouldn't be let anywhere near the club? The council are due to have a meeting on Thursday to decide if they're going to lend...

    Sky Blue Player

the footage is normally from the cameras from the FL show, not sure if it's done in house and then given to the BBC or the BBC do all the filming and give it to the club to use. I think for pre season they've got the website guy doing what he can so it's more a case of have this footage or none...

    Portsmouth- what on earth

latest is that the council are considering loaning the supporters trust a few million to help them buy the club. while I like the idea of supporters owning their own club I'm not sure the council should be getting involved. it's one thing to have the sort of arrangement we have where the council...

I can kind of get the thing with sponsors although it is totally over the top but why does the club crest have to be covered up?

    Portsmouth- what on earth

could be an error, could be that they've not paid the ticketing company or could be a sign that the administrator is winding things up but apparently all tickets (season tickets and match tickets) are no longer on sale.

    Portsmouth- what on earth

Don't know for sure but the figure of £6m is being thrown around. At the moment that's supposed to go to one of the former owners under the last CVA but the theory is the PL, FL and PFA will get together and divert that money direct to the players. Of course while Pompey are making lots of...

    Portsmouth- what on earth

if you read between the lines the issue with the players they're trying to offload isn't really that they won't move to another club on lower wages and more that Pompey don't want to pay the deferred wages. The players haven't been getting their full whack for a while and they want the balance...

    Sky Blues World

I normally subscribe but this year I've cancelled and gone for the CCFC membership instead. That's only £12 more and includes the SBP subscription, you also get a voucher for a match ticket, £5 CCFC shop voucher and 10% off any other tickets, works out cheaper overall for me.

    Portsmouth- what on earth

just to make sure no one forgets about the thread that will never die I've seen today that Pompey are having a jaunt to Spain to play a friendly against Brighton! You couldn't make this stuff up!

    Signings from rangers.

think I was probably one of those other three! he was impressive playing for the reserves as well. i have a feeling he got a pretty serious illness which took him out for several months and he lost pace and wasn't really the same player after that.
