    Marc McNulty

Could’ve attracted an even better move he performed as well as he did in L1. He ought to be thinking ‘what if’ he had stayed. The consolation is, as you mention, a decent wage for 4 years.

I work in logistics, and even big businesses are struggling to get their operations up and running. It’s been a difficult week so far - but exactly what we expected. For what it’s worth, EU exporters are also struggling with the new regulations. But, industry will adapt to the disruption and...

    Dry January

I don’t do any of the Dry Jan or Stoptober. I was more of a typical binge drinker at Uni, rarely having a casual beers. I’ve got a few nice draft beers from Beer52 to enjoy during the Cov games over Jan!

Biamou, Godden and Walker all have scored more from open play then... Not worth 2 million at all.

That’s why Shipley is in the team. The most likely of the ACMs to score a goal. Well worked goal and Dabo has had a stormer!

But, we’re not just a medium sized country. Britain is the 5th/6th largest economy in the world. Other countries are going to want access to our economy too - it’s a non starter. There are companies that will invest in Britain. For example, Aldi have pledged to invest £3.5bn into the UK to boost...

You can travel for 90 days in a 180 day period visa free. That was good news for me as I like to travel a lot. Longer term I think I’ll apply for an Irish passport. I imagine expats will have had to sign up for settled status within the EU as EU citizens had to remain in the UK.

Not really, there’s plenty of historical examples, such as the break up of the USSR. No Deal wouldn’t have increased trade with the EU, you’re right. Realistically, changing arrangements that have stood for 47 years would obviously cause some disruption whilst the market adjusts. Even with a...

I agree, it’s Johnson’s trademark - the exact same thing happened with the withdrawal agreement. This government, unlike May’s, was actually determined to leave without a deal. In the short term, it would’ve been more damaging to us than to the EU. Boris’ mandate was to deliver Brexit, this was...

Services is one of the areas the EU hasn’t managed to create a frictionless single market itself. Service don’t also don’t attract duties in the same way other goods do. So the impact of Brexit on services is more limited than you’d probably think. Personally, I’d rather us stay in the EU...

I believe Leave could definitely have won again. There’s polls that suggest Leave would still win. He had a the unenviable task of uniting a pro-EU, metropolitan voters and the pro-Brexit traditional working class, blue collar voters. With hindsight, failure was predictable. His ultimate...

You’re right. I’m just frustrated he’s giving the spiel about Brexit being ‘a race to the bottom’ when his blunders have contributed to this outcome. I genuinely like Corbyn in my Uni days, but he really could’ve done with reading some Machiavelli. Ineffective politician.

I get that on a level, but the alternative is no deal at all. To be frank, the deal isn’t all that bad. Zero tariff and zero quota access to the EU Single Market without having to pay into it, is not that bad an outcome. It’s still a ‘hard’ Brexit, but you don’t want to like Norway where you...

Jo Swinson and Corbyn bottled their opportunity to have a second referendum. They couldn’t work together electorally and that cost both parties seats. So it seems pretty pointless that Corbyn is grandstanding by opposing the deal, when the alternative is no deal and a harder Brexit. Brexit is...

    Liam Kelly

We lost 20 games in our first season in League 1 - Kelly was injured for a lot of that season. You cannot underestimate the impact of good leadership. Together, McFadz and Kelly organise the team effectively in both attack and defence. We were really naive last night, conceding two very poor...

    January transfer window

That is very much a Michael Owen comment to make. Obviously MR wants to bring in better quality players. The reality is that we have to find destinations for said players, and we have to find the right players with the right quality, for the right price. MR isn’t usually active in January...

Again, finishing communities in the EU disagree with you - they feel the EU has let them down in the same way our fishing communities feel let down by our government. You raise a good point there - our fishing fleet probably isn’t even big enough to take advantage of having 100% control of...
