Think we could get by without a CB but desperately need a GK and CM and a ST.

In all seriousness planning is the big test of “country before party”. The majority is big enough that local Labour MPs could be allowed to protest but I don’t think that matches the message personally. One of the hard truths that needs to be told is some stuff will get built even if everyone...

    Godiva Festival 24

Last time I went it was just the main stuff behind the barriers and the family zone and fair were free to access. There seemed to be no one there on Saturday who hadn’t bought a ticket so I imagine the numbers are well down in the park as a whole.

I haven’t been for years but when did they move everything including the fair behind the barriers? That seemed to stop a lot of people without a ticket from showing up. Did feel very empty.

Build it all in Lib Dem and Green seats. Sorted.

Went on Saturday for a few hours to get my 14 year old in. Enjoyed Wes Nelson (didn’t expect to) and Lasy Leshur (did expect to) and a few random bands I don’t know the name of. Best of all after Taylor Swift and then this my 14 year old has declared her love of live music so now looking for...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Discussing if Reform/Tories are far right is so passé, the question is are the Greens left wing?

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Libertarians are far right and they have no issue with gay marriage, or underage marriage, or animal marriage. This is the issue with putting left right labels on social issues.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

No I’m talking about making it a focal point of the campaign. Increasing the salience of something you get outflanked on and can’t fix is bad politics. Would have been like Labour talking about Gaza all campaign.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

The country has about 20-30% of the population who really care about immigration. More than anything else. And you can get their vote by being more and more extreme on immigration. Most of those people aren’t particularly right wing in any normal sense of the word. They just really want fewer...

Strategically a fucking awful move to make immigration a major issue when you can’t do anything about it and your record is terrible TBF

30% is fascisms ceiling. Most people are decent. PR would put them in power when people are forced to pick one of two sides they don’t pick fascism. People need to be clear eyed about it. Reform and the like aren’t going to romp to 40% of the vote.

In this country it’s almost all memes. We’ve generally not had the shift to the right Europe has.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

It’s been doing it to the Lib Dem’s and Greens for ages, not to mention the SDP. It’s literally the point of the system: keep the fringes on the fringe and force moderation. Also people are calling for PR, the system that in NL just gave Geert Wilders power on 23% of the vote. In a four or...

Video Coventry players RETURN, George Boateng and Rhys Carr take first session 🏃 | CITY UNSEEN EP094 ⛫

Seems quite quiet but new teachers often get that period where the class isn’t sure what they can get away with yet and maybe the players are just having their first day with new bosses so aren’t going to have a bunch of in jokes and messing about 🤷🏻‍♂️
