I think that’s because it hasn’t been much of a rivalry for them. We beat them for the first time since 1966 in that tie. The odd friendly win or qualification humiliation doesn’t make up for beating you in knockout games. The reaction in Germany has been that the loss hurt them a lot. If we...

Personally, I think we’ll play 3-4-3 for the final. Walker’s recovery runs will be key to counter their counter attacking threat. Then again, is Trippier needed to counter the attacking threat down the left hand flank now Spinazzola is injured?

So no one to make us sit up and worry about. They beat us back in 2020. No fans present, a rotated squad and a red card after 30 minutes. The Danes are the ‘people’s team’ with everything they’ve gone through as a team. You have to admire how they’ve bounced back from Eriksen incident, but...

Who have Denmark beaten to get to this stage? Peter Schmeichel calling Denmark the favourites must’ve been a joke. Frankly, if we approach the game as we have the others, we ought to win. Denmark will have long range shots and will be a set piece threat. 2-0 England.

I thought it was quite an arrogant response. German arrogance going into the tie with us went well for them...

    Matt Godden

I’d be happy if they were our 4 striking options. Waghorn will have to prove that last season was a blip, but the rest of those strikers have proved they can perform at Championship level. Walker and Godden had a lot to work through last season with injury/illness. As for Gyo, had a v promising...

    England Supporter’s Travel Club

Every year the Euros/World Cup comes and goes, I always try to get England tickets and the prices are ridiculous. I really want to go to Euro 2024 to Germany, like I went to France in 2016, but this time I want to watch England play their games. The only way to achieve this goal is join the...

    Bright

The time to have signed him was after his loan period ended. Since then, he’s not done anything, for anyone. For whatever reason, Bright just hasn’t got what it takes to make it at a good level. Wasted talent.

Club v Country is a silly debate for me. At Uni, I felt disconnected to Club because we were struggling, not going to games because I lived hundreds of miles away. Likewise, after 2014 and 2016, I lost interest in watching the England games too. Fair play to Southgate, we’re actually a team...

The only concern to be has about the defence was if Maguire wasn’t fit and able to return. The whole back line yesterday have all had great seasons. Even before the tournament, we had an impressive sheet record. The exception being Pickford who has been reliable for England. We’ve had a...

Last night was a very professional performance and I love that Southgate has shushed the naysayers. Three semi finals in 3 years, that's huge.

No one in the Championship or even League 1 would agree with that.

The team mostly picks itself, I’d start the following in 4-2-3-1: Pickford Walker Stones Maguire Shaw Henderson Rice Sterling Mount Foden/Grealish Kane Good opportunity to get Henderson to start game and be a bit more direct in that 4-2-3-1 shape. Phillips is a higher yellow card risk than...

The last time we play Belgium at Wembley, we beat them. Most of our squad in for the 2018 World Cup are sat at home watching this tournament. That’s how much our squad has changed since then. Comparatively, Belgium are not as strong as they were in that tournament. Despite that, still a very...

    Transfer Rumour Udoka Chima

Hardly. He’s 27 and playing in the Northern Irish premier league which is barely a professional league. Short term, he got paid. I doubt he expected to be playing in the NI divisions at 27.

We went into the tournament as the favourites after France. Belgium were behind us going into the tournament. We have a really good team and a good manager which would make us a favoured team on neutral ground. Having so many games at Wembley undoubtedly factored into inflating our value a bit.

They beat us in Belgium and we returned the favour at Wembley this season. In 2018, Belgium were a significantly better than us and that was reflected in the performances when we played at the World Cup. Since then, we’ve improved and developed a lot of new players One thing I really hope...

Why the hype around Belgium? They aren’t the team they were in 2018. With De Bruyne injured, Eden Hazard not at his best and an ageing defence. Despite Lukaku’s form, I don’t fancy them. We also beat Belgium the last time we played, somehow... A Belgium-England final would be an ideal scenario...

I’ll be honest and say I was sceptical about going 3-4-3. Having watched this video this morning, the change in system makes a lot of sense. Tifo is linked to The Athletic which is the outlet leaking all the team news in advance of the game.
