Take some doing to do what he does two quick games in succession as I said in my previous mail I doubt if he will have the same energy against Portsmouth as he had on the Saturday prior.
We need his leadership on the field, watched him Saturday against Sunderland he was in Shipley’s ear every time he pulled out of a challenge. He keeps player going when it starts to get tough.
JCH may not have recovered i time for the Tuesday game as he expended an awful lot of energy against Sunderland would not be surprised if MR holds him back on the Bench until the second half
Just reading through the Bristol Rovers Supporters Forum comments regarding how they rated Coventry's visit. They were all quite positive bar a few hard nosed ones and generally they gave city a 7! I cut and pastred an exctract from Steve192 on link "thats More like it" he summed it up...
i did not understand his substitution for Sterling? Why not bring Davies into the middle of a back 4 and use Willis as a right back? Rovers were targeting Sterling all first half by send high balls down the Channel he as supposed to be covering. I never seem to get some of his subs I really Dont!
then its upo to the Captain else whats the point if your captain only shouts expletives rather than instructions on how we should be playing. Doyle has got to step up to the mark and drive us futher up field if we start to fall back.
Dont think Sterling has got the stomach to fight in a game after the 3rd goal he did not want to know so unless he pulls off " i am injured " excuse i think Robins just took him out of th firing line as his confidence would be shot for the rest of the season
Andreau,Jones, Biamou & Agogo are all coming back from such seroius Knee Injuries and we should be looking at 6 months from starting a game to get to the required match fitness! I dont believe we see the best of Andreau until January in my Opinion.
we have to be patient with him! that was some serious fucked up injury he is coming back from and it will take a while for him to get his speed back, Andreu & Agogo have both hit the wall recently as well,
