Any good dev should be skilled at extracting requirements TBF. I find the multiple layers of non technical users like ADLs and PMs scrum adds between devs and users makes that harder personally. My best work has been me and a customer and not a Project Manager in sight.
Not saying he won’t come good. Just that for the money i wouldn’t want to wait too long. Less about the player and more about the decision to spend over £4m on someone who isn’t going to hit the ground running.
I just think at that age and that fee you should see something early. For the money you should have a natural talent level that shows. I think everyone saw from day one that MvE Hamer Sakamoto for example had something about them.
Yeah early call but for the fee you’d expect him to show instant impact. Same as Kitching.
Frankly I’d be telling the recruitment department no League One players over £2m until they figure it out. The jump is huge and no one who is over 21 and hasn’t played at a higher level is worth that...
Been some big misses TBH. Kitching, Thomas, Torp, EMC all big money and questionable impact so far. That accounts for more than a quarter of our spend post Vik.
lol, lmao even
yeah go into any thread on a breaking story and it’s full of people who have found out “what’s really going on”, for a good three hours before it’s revealed to be complete nonsense made up for Elmo bucks.
Since Hamer we’ve lacked any proper vision and speed on the ball. Everyone needs three or four touches and rarely plays anything other than a safe ball.
Think it’s clear we’re three first team players short in an ideal world: a quality CM, an experienced CB, and an upgrade at LB.
Lets hope Vik and Gus go soon and we can bring at least two of those in.
