    Fisher statement

Wasn't it that Fisher was stating he would liquidate without an administration process and therefore the end of the club and ACL moved to go to administration so that other companies could bid to take the club over?

On SISU FM no chance, it will be business as usual, ducks in a row, bang bang bang etc

    Cwr

I've never been in the anti-Linnell brigade but he's making a complete idiot of himself tonight.

    Fisher statement

I'd be amazed if someone doesn't have a pop at him at some point this season.

    what do ACL gain..

Guess we have to wait and see what their next move is. Do they want to take on SISU and / or the Football League in the courts?

    Rugby at the Ricoh

The point I'm trying to make is Saints using the Ricoh or Stadium MK for an occasional cup game where demand far outstrips availability is nothing like uprooting us and moving every game for years to Sixfields. My original comment was in response to the statement that ACL were doing the same as...

    Rugby at the Ricoh

They had double the capacity of Franklin Gardens in attendance at those games, to me that is evidence that the fans were happy to go but if you want to believe that twice as many tickets sold as their regular grounds capacity, which is rarely sold out, is evidence that they were up in arms in...

    Rugby at the Ricoh

Fair point, I think they've played quarters and other games away from Northampton (at Stadium MK) as well. I believe they were in a situation where they wanted to expand their ground but couldn't get permission so started playing bigger games elsewhere. Now they have permission and their council...

Coventry City Ladies play at the Ricoh

Maybe a few Wimbledon fans will join us in the home end!

    Rugby at the Ricoh

I must have missed the huge protests and petition from Saints fans. The fact that 22K turned up at Stadium MK and 27K turned up at the Rioch would seem to indicate it wasn't an issue.

    Rugby at the Ricoh

situation a) club moved out of home town where suitable stadium is available against fans wishes which will mean the loss of tens of millions in revenue situation b) club plays limited number of home games out of home town as stadium can't cope with demand with the endorsement of fans leading...

Coventry City Ladies play at the Ricoh

This has got to be the next protest, get a bigger crowd at this game than Sixfields. Anyone know who are they playing?

    hypocrite

Coventry are being moved against fans wishes. Northampton Saints play some of their games at other grounds (they have used the Ricoh and MK Dons in the past) as their ground isn't big enough. There was no objection to this from their fans and it won't be a problem for much longer as their own...

    Rugby at the Ricoh

The difference would be that they were actively looking for somewhere to play cup games as their ground was too small. They've played before at the Ricoh and also I think at MK Dons with no objection from their fans.

    Les Reid twitter

they can do what they want but it would be very transparent what they are doing. the longer this goes on and if it does end up in court etc the more the spotlight will be on the FL and they must know they haven't done a good job with this, not the way they want to look when the government is...

    Keys on Talksport

Sinclaire seems increasingly out of her depth. See her on twitter now saying ACL are to blame and we have to stay with SISU as there are no other options. Can't see how you can reach that conclusion when ACL are offering the deal they are and there were other buyers interested when we went into...

    CCFC still going to Northampton?

while I'm sure ACL / Higgs / Council aren't entirely blameless they have offered to reduce the rent from £1.3m to £150K, what have SISU done to try and enable the situation to be resolved?
  20. chiefdave

    CCFC for sale ?

Shouldn't take them long to wheel the barrow over from Tesco, tunnel under the trainline could be a bit of a bugger.
