I can’t see Wasps returning. They have gates of sun £7k and the ground was the reason d’être for moving to Coventry. Day-to-day, the CBS is arguably too big for us, let alone a rugby club.

How many rugby clubs regularly get 10,000 fans every game? It highlights how dumb the Wasps purchase of the CBS was. Even at the time of the purchase, I always wondered what a rugby club would do with a 32k seater stadium.

At 6.5%, the interest is tracking below inflation which wasn’t the case until this year. It’s a tough spot for those investors.
