Bapaga, Thompson, drysdale and Eccles do not look out of place. Great to have in squad. Sheaf running game. Walker and Baka nice and lively but both wasted excellent opportunities. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Burge being found out

I have come on to say that burge is history; I don’t care how he does at Sunderland (unless we draw them in a cup...or they get promoted at end of season). I wondered why a keeper who was going nowhere with us exercises so many sky blue minds. It’s as legitimate a point as ‘i always said he is...

    Burge being found out

Can’t believe we are still obsessing about him. He has moved on ...why can’t we? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Match Thread Bristol City V Coventry City

Yes we dominated for much of first half but in end Bristol just too strong. We missed some decent chances and Bristol took 2 that mattered. To be fair both teams should have scored at least a couple more. I thought Bristol looked well drilled and competent rather than exciting. I think both both...

    Player Ratings v Bristol

All played reasonably well. Nobody stood out as a weak link but majority tired alarmingly around 70mins. I would give everyone 6or 7 and O’Hare a 7.5 for his first half performance. Hamer has to control himself or he will be picking up cards every game...and we missed him when he went off...

Match Thread Bristol City V Coventry City

Disappointed but not disheartened. In end we ran out of steam. When on top you have to take the chances. For 3/4 of that game we competed very well and played some good football Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looked very good at times. After first 15/20 were better side. A number of half chances that on another day might have gone in. Better than I expected after 20secs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Seems very strange that we haven’t received clearance for Sheaf. These things should go through quickly you would think during a window as it impacts on all clubs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Match Thread Bristol City V Coventry City

I think Rose and Dabo will start on bench for the first couple games and I would start ostigard and Pask (or possibly Burroughs at Bristol). And I would give Walker the nod over Godden (for his pace) as I think he may be isolated for long periods in the first game. Sent from my iPhone using...

    Maybe two more...

Sorry that’s what I meant. When he’s using it to close down players it doesn’t register in the same way as Giles running into space. I think a front two of Walker and Baka has a lot of pace and might be worth looking at threading balls through or over the top. Would work well with our playing...

    Maybe two more...

We do see baka’s pace in games...he is one of the fastest when it comes to closing down the keeper. Has often put the keeper under pressure from seemingly impossible positions. We rarely play the ball over the top (just not our style) and he hasn’t really got the skill or confidence to take a...
