He was being overrun and did very well to hold his own I would say.

Would you say he was a jerk?

Not sure I agree with 'the team didn't play well at all' comment. Defending is just as important as going forwards and I thought overall we were excellent at the back. Credit where credit's due.

I see a lot of criticism for Burge today. Just been flicking through the match thread. Maybe I need to watch the highlights. So much going on for those scrambles and he seemed to be stopping everything, but maybe I missed something. Thought he was very average in the first half, but kicking...

Was impressed with Swindon today. One of the best teams we have faced this season. Should definitely be in the top 7 come May if they keep playing like that.

I thought Burge was excellent today. Started off shaky and wasn't having a good game, but in the second half he pulled off some excellent stops, saves and blocks. Burge 8 - Some great stops today. Grimmer 7 - Steady game from him (was his side for the goal though, so not sure if he was caught...

I am very much hoping we are a second half of the season team.

I thought Biamou would score today. In the warm up was the only one scoring. Pretty much every shot it was. Nearly every McNulty and Ponticelli shot were skewed wide. ;) Maguire-Drew's crossing has been poor. Been impressed with Biamou and McSparky and Davies and Willis were looking good...

    Robins after Craig Davies

Maybe they misunderstood the iFollow concept.

    Commemorative Shirt for Cyrille?

Totally agree. Wasn't advocating it as something I was championing. George Curtis and Oggy would have been the natural choices I would have thought.

Barrett down to fitness I would guess. The other day he said he was 80% fit.

Heat lamps on it, huh? Are the ground staff now all chilled out, laid back and looking glazedy eyed?

    Commemorative Shirt for Cyrille?

Agree. Why they waited 15 years to retire his shirt I will never understand. It was a great mark of respect. It is something that should be a rarity though, retiring shirt numbers, and think for the most part it is just that.

Burge or O'Brien, who's in goal today?

It did matter though. The strikers have to do their bit and try and score and the keeper needs to do his bit and try and keep the ball out of the net. Can't blame the strikers for Burge's error. I don't rate him very highly at all, but am not very harsh on him for the most part, but that...

I sort of agree. I think we can include Barrett in there somewhere as well, it might be of benefit to have Biamou still in. We would then have two goal-getters in the team in McSparky and Barrett.

Burge or O'Brien, who's in goal today?

Fasten the seat belt securely and make sure the child locks are on, cos he might fall out on the way.

    Commemorative Shirt for Cyrille?

Why? You think it was wrong for West Ham to retire Bobby Moore's number 6 shirt? I am sure there are some rather inane and token gestures around in the game, but retiring Bobby Moore's shirt number after the service he gave that club was admirable I would say. What was wrong in West Ham...

Burge or O'Brien, who's in goal today?

He did. It was like he suddenly lost his head. Absolutely no idea what he was thinking there.
