The "Have Sunderland Created Another Coventry Thread on Their Forum ?" thread

I was at the Bristol city game too and I find it strange that they don’t direct the same vitriol towards them too. Alan Dicks was JHs assistant during the Div 2 days, so it’s fair to say that once we knew the score of the game at Everton the teams came to an agreement. It was 2-0 if I remember...

    Lee Burge

We need to see him maintain a high level of consistency next season. Unfortunately, this season he has made some unforced errors that cost us points, but at other times been a great shot stopper. If he improves his decision making, kicking and dealing with crosses he will give our back four...

I agree, if we did get promoted to the championship Bayliss could potentially be worth 4 x as much as now. Will MR be given the chance to retain the best talent?

There have been a number of figures quoted, but OSB would probably be the best person to advise from the last set of audited accounts.

The interesting element is the rate of interest that is charged for those loans. Some would consider it excessive?

    What are the play-offs worth?

Based on 50,000 attendance and assuming an average cost per ticket of £30 [being cautious] = £1,500,000. My guess is 25% = £375,000. However, I'm sure someone will have a much better ride than me on this.

The coaching staff deserve credit for his performances. Having said that the lad himself has shown great attitude and mental toughness

Match Thread Coventry City Vs Exeter League 2 playoff final. Monday 28th May

SBA were brilliant today. I thought we were much the better team. The only time Exeter got into the game was in the last 10 minutes when we say deep and looked tired. As for quality .... Jordan Willis finish sublime & grimmers left foot was ace

    Our finest point in history

The night we wrapped up qualification for Europe by winning at Wolves was a great one. . I may stand corrected but Brian Joyce who we signed from non league scored that night.

    A note of caution

I think the difference for us is that the major rebuilding job of the squad was undertaken last summer & we have the key players under contract for at least one more season. Therefore, MR has a far more stable position to prepare for next season, in comparison to other years. That said, we must...

Lego Ricoh Arena Model (Or something?)

Whatever happens with Wasps, I can't see SISU changing their approach. They only invest money into court actions rather than stadiums, the team, etc.

    Judging players

It is interesting to see how some players have improved through the season & this has to be connected to how coachable they are .... whilst there are a couple of players, who despite being in the same environment have not moved on . In short there has been some good work by the coaching staff in...

Agree, last year was against the backdrop of relegation & a consolation prize for the SBA . This year it’s a positive chance to improve our clubs prospects.
