How much would you want Sisu?

There must be clubs that aren't running at a loss, why is there an assumption that we couldn't be self sustaining. Especially at Championship / L1 level. I doubt if there was a fan takeover Jan would be chairman and running the show. Far more likely that a chief exec would be employed who had...

    Plans for new stadium revealed

I meant to build an academy if we were still at the Ricoh but where is the city boundary, is it the motorway?

What are the councils plans for the Ricoh without CCFC

F&B and hotel revenue (isn't that DeVere anyway?) would still come in for non footballing events. You could argue it will increase as some events will be all day / multi day and I think some of the hotel rooms were unable to be used on match days. Not sure about hire of boxes, does that come to...

Would you support CCFC in a new stadium built by SISU?

it's just outside isn't it, literally the other side of the road which would mean CCC would be involved with any infrastructure changes needed. Didn't this one already get looked into and someone else had already purchased the land and started work there?

What are the councils plans for the Ricoh without CCFC

Why the assumption the stadium has to be used regularly? Given that it's part of a complex how much is it actually costing when not in use? It may well be that the value of having just occasional events there outweighs the cost of maintaining it. Or would people rather the knocked it down so...

If Sisu built a new stadium between....

No need to pretend, it's obviously going to be built, I've seen a picture of it!

    Mark Labovitch v OSB

During his one man PR disaster tour today when talking about the financing of the stadium made a comment to the effect of it's obvious how it will be funded. He went on to say he would be happy to meet supporters who wished to discuss the finances of the stadium move in more detail. So would...

Would you support CCFC in a new stadium built by SISU?

Would anywhere 5 miles from the city centre take you out of the city? People can only really decide if an actual location is given and not everyone will give the same answer. Clear to me that every step further away from the city boundary they take the lower the number of people who will find it...

    Labo on sky NOW

Nothing was actually exposed by the JR was it? There was talk of a YB valuation based on what they could get if ACL went bust but thats pretty much useless as an indication of value now. The council are 50% owners of ACL, wouldn't you expect them to have representation on the board, if SISU...

Mark Labovitch Sky Sports News interview transcript.

Well either he meant freehold as SISU have been stating for several months or there's a sudden about turn and they are now happy to be leaseholders.

What are the councils plans for the Ricoh without CCFC

What sort of announcement are you expecting? That they're going to knock it down or something? They'll just keep doing what they have been doing but now they don't have to worry about booking any events that clash with CCFC matches such as the computer game expo over Easter Weekend.

OK then, go ahead and explain why it is essential for the club to own the freehold to be financially viable.

    Private Eye...silence

You would have thought if "Robinson, Higgs et al were completely befuddled" they would have had access to lawyers, solicitors and advisors who would be able to asset. To be honest that just shows them to be totally incompetent if they signed something they didn't understand. Are we also to...

Mark Labovitch Sky Sports News interview transcript.

He opens with "It’s absolutely essential for this club, for any other club, to own it’s own stadium to be financially viable in the long term.", a point that's been raised on here many times and been shown to be incorrect, if his first line is a lie why would anyone believe anything that follows?

Would another local authority shaft another ?

you've got to imagine they would at the very least be pretty wary of the whole thing. ML was trying to make out of SSN that it would be just outside the boundary of the city which would surely mean CCC being involved from an infrastructure perspective anyway.

    Plans for new stadium revealed

which just means it's all pointless. I could get an architect to draw me up some plans but if I don't tell him I've only got 10 acres and £250K and he does something that needs 50 acres and will cost £5m it's all a bit of a pointless exercise.

depending on exactly how tied down the council are by the JR he could have dropped himself / SISU in a spot of bother there.

    Labo on sky NOW

I wish they would stop putting these idiots out in public, it's embarassing. Is there suddenly a huge demand for 60 acre sites in the 'Coventry area'? They seem very worried about somebody sneeking in and buying the site from under them, surely anyone that was desperate for a site like that...
