All the big companies would ask for a discount Id think. I’ll agree though I don’t think it would interest them although JLR are currently looking for novel ways to offer staff perks.

In the other thread someone (you?) was arguing corporate brought in a huge amount of money and so customers needs to be looked after! Now it’s peanuts and doesn’t really add to the budget.

If it turns out they don’t sell I would be in agreement. We don’t have all the information. I would hope they have some indication or research they can sell at this price.

From his comments it seems like he wants to invest a minimal amount to fluke a promotion and parachute payments.

As a business owner you should be able to comprehend that an increased profit margin might outweigh the increased costs of acquiring new customers.

Yeah it’s pretty niche but then there are plenty of clubs with sold out corporate boxes.

You don’t know what the profit margin is or how much the club will spend marketing the boxes so this is pretty meaningless. It’s a just a rule of thumb that’s tossed around in business.

Amount of renewals isn’t really indicative of anything. What’s important is whether they sell. I’ve no idea whether they will or not, time will tell.

So you keep saying and I don’t disagree. However, they still have to bring in as much income as possible and reduce losses. Then any profit from player sales has more chance of ending up on the field.

They could have staggered the rises but in the meantime they’re turning down money (assuming they sell at the new price) and people would only complain prices had risen 2-3 years in a row. Better to rip the plaster off IMO.

We should remember that the club loses money and that gap may need to be covered before we see more money on the pitch.

You could make that argument but I’d say Tavares is lacking in a number of areas and that’s what restricts his game time, it’s not specifically him being slight and he is the type of player where physicality will ever be part of his game. He is all about speed.

He has given Tavares game time and he is built like a twig.
