So this centres then on SISU stating they were deliberately trying to deceive Yorkshire Bank by colluding with the council to create a false impression that ACL were distressed. Not sure I'd be wanting to stand up in court and state that. What was Labovich's quote from the last meeting? "It’s...

PWKH said they were prepared to accept the CVA if SISU dropped the JR and agreed to a rolling 10 years lease at (I think) the 150K rate. They aren't actually getting 0.5 pence in the pound as it was a condition of the FL when handing back the golden share that the debt to ACL was paid in full...

So why could they only do this when the mortgage was with Yorkshire Bank?

I still don't understand what difference it makes if you're trying to purchase 50% or even 100% of ACL. Prior to the change ACL were paying Yorkshire Bank, after they were paying CCC (at a lower rate). I don't really follow SISU's arguement. If I was buying a company and during the talks...

Don't see that happening tbh. If CCC don't want SISU owning 50% of ACL the simple route is to use their veto. At that point they would need to explain to the people of Coventry why they had used the veto as it would be seen as blocking the return of the club to the city.

The council didn't reject the CVA did they, did they even have a vote?

Surely repayment terms would already be laid out? Would be a very odd choice if the council did that as they would run the risk of not being paid and of course a PR disaster which may well cost them votes. They may own the freehold but they would then have to resell the lease, seems a lot of...

Do you think we're at a point now where SISU have to get the Ricoh for next to nothing or they are out of options? I can't really see any other way they can get close to recouping what has been put in even if you assume the actual figure 'invested' is far lower than they claim. If they had to...

    SCG minutes...

This is the key point. A lot of people talk about what is best for CCFC but that is not SISU's main concern, they need to get the best return for their investors. Buying the Ricoh at market value gives them no room to make a profit. However get a £40m stadium for next to nothing ...

Well the Higgs share comes with 50% of revenues from the Ricoh complex (at the moment all going towards repaying the loan) and 100% of all matchday revenues so in itself would seem worth purchasing at that price.

Well ACL have filed accounts which should give the valuers a fair idea and enable them to come up with a decent valuation. At the very least it would show SISU are serious and put the ball in the councils court. If SISU made a serious bid based off a valuation the council would then have to...

    SCG minutes...

A valuation costs money, why should ACL or CCC pay out? Why don't SISU get a valuation done themselves and make an offer based off that.

    SCG minutes...

If I was in charge at SISU I would go back to Higgs and complete that deal to purchase 50% of ACL at what is believed to be around £5m. I would then go to the council and make an offer of around £14m (essentially clearing the loan) for their 50% as a starting point and go from there, I think...

    SCG minutes...

Same way anyone does when making a bid for something that isn't for sale. You could make a conditional bid based on certain assumptions. ACL have published accounts and the term of their lease has a known pro rata value. That would be your starting point. Not entirely accurate but lets say...

    SCG minutes...

The price for purchasing ACL or the freehold will not be impacted by the amount it costs to buy off other contracts. Most potential owners would see having business in place generating revenue as a plus point! There is nothing stopping SISU approaching any of those businesses at the Ricoh and...

I have no idea who Peter Ward is but he clearly isn't a fan of Weber Shandwick! The problem is it's again all unsubstantiated claims and everytime Weber Shandwick are mentioned there is no mention of the PR firm engaged by SISU. I think the council would be correct in not responding to FOI...

What is happening with the ricoh?

Think that was just press talk. What a lot of people miss with the Ricoh is that, as it's not just a stadium bowl, it isn't the case that a team playing in the stadium on a regular basis is essentially. It could very well be the case that they can generate equal or greater revenue from the...

    SCG minutes...

What isn't clear to me is that if SISU want the Ricoh and don't want the contracts why can they not take over with the contracts in place and then buy off / renegotiate the contracts themselves once they have ownership? It's almost as if every time a move is made towards meeting SISUs...

In my opinion, based on his track record (he has been proved to be untruthfull in his statements in the past) and SISU's record as a whole I would say largely without truth and merit. My feeling is if he had any evidence to back up these claims we would have seen it by now. If there was some...

Not really, he could have just stated at the start that there was not point talking about those parties as CCFC / SISU have now moved on and are concentrating on the new stadium. Or maybe he didn't really want to have to answer questions about the new stadium, who knows? Either way these meeting...
