    CT investigation into new stadium

Or Friday's story that CCC have such far reaching powers that they could block SISU from purchasing land outside the city. Does of course raise the issue that if they're so powerful won't they be able to block planning permission?

    Time for Plain Speaking

Wasn't it Labovich that stated 2 companies working together to distress another is illegal? Would be very odd to go to court if your case was going to be based around you having broken the law!

    CT investigation into new stadium

Glad they addressed all the concerns raised in the article with such a detailed response!

    Time for Plain Speaking

FFP is a seperate arguement to getting the club back to the Ricoh and I'm sure there's a way around any issues with FFP due to the way CCFC and ACL link in the event that the club owns 50% of ACL. Of course you then have the arguement over if this is the correct thing to do, is trying to get...

    Time for Plain Speaking

The obvious thing to do is complete the deal with Higgs for their share in ACL. We'd then have 100% of matchday revenues, 50% of all other revenues and a 50% stake in the company we have to agree the rent with.

Football League are Asking Questions About the New Stadium

With regard to the money due to SISU why is it that it can't be paid until the old Ltd company has been liquidated? I thought it was a condition the FL place on Otium, as part of handing over the Golden Share, that they paid it. Given that Otium is not the company being liquidated what is...

    CT investigation into new stadium

Noticed when Labovich was on CWR on Friday the story had changed from not being able to reveal the location due to the danger of all those other companies who want to build stadiums in the 'Coventry area' getting in before them to can't tell you as CCC will prevent the sale. Wasn't very clear to...

    CT investigation into new stadium

Good point, the FL should be able to give a limit as to how far away from the boundary of the city they deem acceptable.

Totally agree with this. Until the point that ML or TF can clearly explain how the route they are taking will benefit the club this option should constantly be talked about and put to them. They've said lots of things that have turned out not to be true, I see no reason to take this at face...

    Monday Morning Stadium Poll

More good news for SISU! They've already said the stadium won't be in the city and at the moment this poll shows nearly 85% of people saying they won't attend in those circumstances. Have they done even the slightest bit of market research into how many fans are going to turn up to this new stadium?

Labovitch on BBC CWR at 6 tonight

What's the score with appeals? Is it allowed or do we go through the whole JR process again with a slightly different claim from SISU. If appeals are allowed how long can it go on for, is it one appeal and that's it or more open ended.

Coventry City Council have Failed CCFC

So the argument now is not only that we should be given a low / free rent or given the ground for free we should now be expecting ACL to pay us to come back???

Coventry City Council have Failed CCFC

Given that they are both older grounds who pays the maintenance on those? No idea what maintenance costs on older grounds generally are but as a point of reference I know Pompey had to borrow half a million to even get to the standard of getting a safety certificate this season and speaking to...

Coventry City Council have Failed CCFC

He has to get the important things sorted first, if we're paying 2p a page to photocopy instead of 1p the club could be in big trouble!

Tim claimed a lot of things, not sure I'd be taking his word on anything :D

Coventry City Council have Failed CCFC

This is what doesn't make sense. The vast majority of teams don't have stadiums with the additional facilities the Ricoh has so the extra revenue we're talking about is F&B (off the top of my head wasn't this quoted by ACL as being a profit of 100K) and letting out a couple of function rooms on...

Coventry City Council have Failed CCFC

Is this really the case? At Sixfields it is for sure but at the Ricoh was there no club presence other than on matchday? What about the club shop and club offices? I'm sure those operating businesses locally can tell us the going rate for the square footage used by the club, you'd really need to...

    Costs per game

Bingo! SISU have done well here as they've managed to convince everyone it's about the rent and pie money. Just look at the threads on here. Yet if you look at the offers currently on the table it is clear that is nothing to do with it yet it's all anyone talks about.

Coventry City Council have Failed CCFC

Given that you've said we've never seen the details how can you assume it would have been £1.2-£1.3m in the championship?

Coventry City Council have Failed CCFC

This argument only really works if the rental amount could be shown to be the cause of our problems but looking at the accounts it clearly isn't. Look at % of income spent on wages! look at the cost of interest payments. Even if the rent had been zero we would still have tens of millions of...
