I would go with: Marosi, Osti, McFadz, Hyam McCallum, Sheaf, Hamer, Kelly, Giles O'Hare Godden

I thought Shipley & Sheaf who have both come in for some criticism on this site had good games tonight, but Kelly gave us some extra composure in midfield. It really showed how much we missed him

    Sheaf

His best game by a mile for us. Let’s hope he keeps improving.

    Fridays deadline

If we need more defensive, protectionist approach then a french import Macron might work, especially if there's anything fishy going on.

    6 championship clubs need bailout

I see that Peter Risdale is stating saying some Championship clubs could face administration before Christmas and stating that the PL needs to fund the Championship as well as L1 & 2. This is the same Peter Risdale who speculated millions at Leeds and bankrupted that club. I hope he's not...

    Project Big Picture...

The big television revenues are currently with the Premier League, which gives our clubs bigger budgets than most clubs across Europe. Why would you give up that advantage by entering into a super league that would increase the revenues to some of your competitors?

    6 championship clubs need bailout

There would need to be very careful implementation of any bailout to clubs, due to the current casino culture of some. Otherwise, those clubs could be continue to be more successful based on building even bigger deficits. I would favour a direct points deduction for any club needing a bailout...

    6 championship clubs need bailout

The disparity in revenues between the Premier League & Championship has led to a casino culture within some clubs of gambling on promotion and ignoring the FFP rules [e.g. Aston Villa & Bournemouth for their promotion years.....and got away with it]. Whatever is decided by the Premier League...

    Project Big Picture...

The disparity in revenues between the various levels in English football has led to very risky practices, as clubs try to reach the "promised land" of the Premier league. IMO - There are some positive aspects to this proposal, including getting rid of the parachute payments and increasing...

    Match Thread Brentford Match Thread

If we give Brentford the space in midfield that we gave Bournemouth and QPR in the first half, we will lose. Lets hope we're learning and give a good account. A point would be a great result.

    Would you have bright back?

No thanks - he could disrupt the team spirit and culture of the squad.

    Fresh Ricoh talks

Do you know what the television income is for Wasps by playing in the Premiership and what the running costs are? We project that CCFC will get £6M+ for being in the Championship and there are reports our wage bill last season was circa £3.5M. Hence, you are right in thinking CCFC is self...

Good point - also the stadium naming rights are worth a lot less without CCFC

One hedge fund from the Cayman Islands dealing with another from Malta. Wasp fans need a reality check

    Fresh Ricoh talks

I have a suspicion that the Conservatives change of position to potentially oppose the new ground is possibly connected to all the conservative members, donars and voters living in expensive houses on gibbet hill and cryfields. They don’t fancy having football fans walking past their place

    Fresh Ricoh talks

True and they might prefer a lower return rather than administration of the company and getting 10p in the £1

    Fresh Ricoh talks

Screwing each other financially is the basis of a market economy. It’s not going to happen.... and before someone replies stating mutual benefits... yes, but only if a both parties think they’ve hot one over the other! I might be a bit cynical from years in business 🤔

    Cov Conservatives

Their reasoning being that there are a lot of expensive houses with owners who vote conservative at Gibbet hill lane and nearby. I think their supporters would be pretty fed up with the prospects of a stadium being built near their homes
