It's set to be another scorcher this weekend and those body stockings will make the poor girls suffer in the heat so they really should be naked........ im just thinking of their welfare you understand.

    Parliament Today

Insolvency and administration law is part of his remit though. I tend to agree with previous posts that this kind of talk won't make any difference to our present situation but if it stops another club having to go through this in the future then im all for it.

    David Bell contract terminated

At least he is off the wage bill. Would have been nice to get even a nominal fee though. Surprised Sheffers hasn't been officially released yet.

Bring it on, could do with the excitement

    Sisu have a different agenda!

I think there is more to it than just the Ricoh, though they would doubtless like to get their hands on it. I have been convinced for some time that SISU are somehow laundering money through the club or else using us a front for some business con or other (in my opinion). I am no expert in such...

    Sky bet

I find it a bit disturbing that various divisions of the Sky/Newscorp empire now both sponsor the league and hold the primary broadcast license. Surely there is a conflict of interest there isn't there? How can the TV deal be negotiated impartially when another division of the same company are...

    Parliament Today

Not a bad idea that. Mind you, its not going to be an easy meeting so how much opportunity there is for general chat remains to be seen..........

Im actually meeting with Vince Cable in a couple of weeks by a happy bit of coincidence, perhaps we can have a chat about the Sky Blue woes.......... you never know...........

    Player Strike!

I can't see us signing anyone until well after the season has started because of the mess of sorting out admin etc then filing accounts. If/When ACL reject the CVA that could drag out admin even longer. Realistically we will just be looking at bringing in free agents that are still milling...

a question for those not intending to go to northampton..

Very much of the belief that there will not be a new ground. I still think its a huge game of chicken, either we will see the club fold altogether or we will see SISU buying the Ricoh.

For those living outside of Cov

I write to my MP most days just to annoy him more than anything so he might welcome the distraction of simply being asked to sign an EDM rather than reading my usual rant. He might even see it as a way of making me stop bothering him. He would be wrong in that assumption but it could work in our...

I have emailed Andrew Bingham, MP for the High Peak, though how much use he will be is questionable

    A great suggestion

There has already been an extensive thread about this mate.........

    Liquidation or Northampton?

ACL will reject the CVA there is no doubt about that. What that means though im not sure. The league have proved themselves pretty spineless so I think they would simply hand the golden share to holdings who would carry on with their pipe dream of a new stadium plan whilst playing at Sixfields.

    Northampton Sky Blues

They are dead to me as well. Even if by some miracle they do come back to the Ricoh im not sure I could continue to support them whilst SISU remain in charge and ACL - who are fairly guilty as well in my eyes - are running the stadium. For me to come back and make the mammoth round trip to Cov...

Leaving the Ricoh is the correct decision if.....

Building a new stadium in Cov will never happen. It could never compete with the Ricoh in terms of conferencing and concerts so how much income a new smaller stadium would bring us is very debatable. I think everyone can see that the only solution is for one single entity to own the club and...

    Newco Coventry

I believe for this scenario to come about both holdings and Limited would have to be liquidated. As has already been said, if ltd only is liquidate the league will surely just award the golden share to holdings in order to complete the fixtures for this season. Its too late in the day to do...

I talked to B.C.F.A re. phoenix club.

I have been saying this for ages. They must be filtering money through us somehow (and making on the deal) otherwise they would not be so desperate to keep hold of us. There is undeniably something more to it.
