    A few questions for PWKH

I get that but the point I was making was that the FL made payment a condition for Otium recieving the GS, now as Otium are technically a different entity to Holdings, Ltd etc the FL couldn't instruct them to make someone else pay so they must have instructed Otium to pay it in which case what...

Highfield Group - Will you donate?

Must be real, they've got a twitter! If you were going to do something like this wouldn't you have a website ready to go at launch and have it splashed over the CT with all the details of who's behind it?

Didn't the dance music thing they had on have camping or has that not happened yet?

    A few questions for PWKH

Didn't a price get agreed and then SISU changed the payment terms to £2m up front and installments but couldn't offer any proof of funds to pay? From memory think it was something along those lines. Not sure it ever got as far as the council needing to veto anything. Wouldn't a veto have to go...

    A few questions for PWKH

But it's not a payment as part of the CVA as the CVA was rejected. I thought it was a condition of issuing the golden share the FL placed on Otium to make the payment which would mean the liquidation process had nothing to do with the payment being made. The FL can put any condition they like...

    A few questions for PWKH

I've never been clear on why it can't be paid until the liquidation is complete as it's not a payment as part of liquidation is it? Isn't it a payment the FL order Otium to make as a condition of issuing the golden share?

    A few questions for PWKH

They haven't just chucked money at ACL, they have provisioned a loan. When the loan is repaid the council will make a small profit. Who knows what will happen in the future, who knows if we'll even have a club by then. It seems to me the date by which ACL is going to collapse has become like...

    A few questions for PWKH

We all know the best thing is for the club to come back to the Ricoh but if you had to pick a side that could survive without it happening I would suggest ACL would be the more likley candidate. They are not solely reliant on the club and only really need to break even given that they are owned...

    A few questions for PWKH

But what does that prove? Equally if we add on £1.2m a year in rent they should have been paid it would have been a £1.65m profit (well not exactly as you have to deal with the escrow account etc but you can see the point), doesn't really show anything one way or the other. If it is the case...

    A few questions for PWKH

Was going to read that until I saw it was 48 pages! What are you driving at here? Its fairly common for leases to have clauses relating to what happens in the event of early termination so I'm not sure why this would be seen as an issue?

    Private Eye Todays Issue

:thinking about: Odd then that Reid appears to have not written any articles for the CT or anyone else since getting removed from covering the Ricoh saga.

It's a nice idea but unlikley to happen until the JR is resolved.

Highfield Group - Will you donate?

Depends what he posted wouldn't it? At least we would know who was behind it! If Michael, or anyone else for that matter, posted a scheme that was clear in it's aims and had a viable business plan for the future it would be a lot easier to support than something like this.

Highfield Group - Will you donate?

Fan ownership is a non starter for us at the moment, SISU would want way more than could ever be raised. Looking at this scheme there's a lot of alarm bells ringing for me. If something like this was going to happen surely it would involve the Trust in some way? You certainly wouldn't use a...

    A few questions for PWKH

What the OP seems to be getting at here is that ACL are in trouble. Of course we've been down this road before. There were those of the opinion that as soon as CCFC moved out it would all fall apart, that didn't happen. Then it was wait for ACL's accounts and we'll see the truth, then ACL...

    It is all dead

Every day we stay in Northampton sees our fan base shrink. People can moan about people not being proper fans etc but that's not going to change things. Everyone on here has to be a fairly dedicated fan to spend a chunk of their time on a club forum yet we get regular posts from people who have...

That's why I started my post with my understanding rather than dictating it as fact. Maybe you would have preferred FACT in capitals at the end of the post?

    A few questions for PWKH

My understanding was that as a condition of issuing Otium the golden share they had to agree to pay ACL the same amount offered in the CVA. When last reported it hadn't been paid. I recall SISU stating this was due to delays in the liquidation process but it was never explained how that had an...

    Feature on central news tonight

You may call it strategy but do you not think that would be of interest to some people given Reid's perceived stance on CCCs role in this? And of course if PWKH is mistaken and Reid wasn't there with Rob then we will find out soon enough when Rob comes on in the morning to answer all the points...
