. People talk about the commercial operation, but we are still not selling corporate and the kits still arent out on time and we’re still reliant on City fans to sponsor us. We do charge kids an extortionate amount to watch us though.

Really. There’s not a single player or staff I rate particularly highly. We’ve got a better training ground. Aside from that I’m not sure what’s improved.

Were in the worst position we’ve been in for years if you judge by the league table. Also: “We’re in the best position we’ve been in years…We just need a change of direction” 😂

He just needs to end his involvement with the playing side at setting a budget, hiring and firing a manager, and eating prawn sandwiches in corporate like any normal owner.

Not sure £20m counts for much when you spend it on League One “talent” and Ellis Simms.

Changing the team every week / our best team

People keep saying this about Eccles but he looked by far our most progressive midfielder yesterday. Rudoni was invisible and Sheaf seems to get a nose bleed beyond the centre circle.

As I said in a previous post, Robins is the only one with any kind of record and it’s a great record. If you’re changing all the stuff around him you may as well see if he can get that record back. If you’re not then I’m not sure it matters who is manager.

Maybe. But what’s changed is King and culture comes from the top.

It needs experience. It needs better up front. Better in defence. Better in midfield. Possibly better in goal. It’s hard to tell I guess with players this bereft of confidence, but given a blank sheet I’m not sure I’d sign any of this squad bar maybe MvE and Wright and the latter’s attitude is...

It’s a culture of mediocrity I’m sure plenty can work in it, I’m not sure any will succeed.

Honestly if given free reign Robins is the last employee I’d fire. He’s the only one playing or not with some level of achievement behind him. For a start I’d fire the entire coaching fitness and scouting staff and completely overhaul the squad.

Because councils are mostly social care organisations these days and cant do much else. We are ludicrously centralised here and have to beg central govt for everything.

    Coventry in the news

We need to stop allowing low wage low skill immigrants and their extended family in. We need to shut off Deliveroo and other routes to low paid illegal work and we need to kick people out when they break the law. But all of that will still leave our public services underfunded. The state of the...

You think all we need to do is replace Robins. I think the club is rotten to the core. We are not alike.

    Coventry in the news

Services have been underfunded for decades. School places not so long ago were in crisis and lots of schools were looking at closing TBF. Lack of public services is down to the government not paying for them. Kicking the brown people out won’t change that. There’s issues with immigration but...
