    Formation concerns

Yeah completely agree that modern day football has to be played in this way, but at this level I think it needs to be far more simple. Pacey wingers, overlapping full backs, big man up front, small poacher up front, holding midfielder and a creative midfielder!

    Higher or lower

definitely higher, midweek attendance is always lower

    player ratings for tonight

Murphy - 6 - Nothing of note, couldn't do much about the goal, but otherwise fine. Brown - 4 - Very poor first half, but lacked confidence. Better second, but made some bad decisions in the game. However there were some glimpses of a good player there. Malaga - 7 - If you consider it was his...

    Formation concerns

I guess Hussey and Christie could work then. Big fan of Jordan Clarke and rate him above Christie, but if we're looking for attacking fullbacks I think the latter could offer more.

    So let's have your MOtM

Couldn't agree more, but it wasn't the tackling that impressed me so much, because from what I'd heard about him I sort of, expected it. What really impressed me was his ability on the ball, he always kept possession and just does the simple things brilliantly. At times he passed backwards...

    Formation concerns

For me, the diamond formation doesn't work at this level. It's modern day football tactics, which concentrates on narrow play, incorporating clever intricate passes and movement. Similar tactics are employed by the likes of Man City and Arsenal, and in my opinion Thorn is trying to be too...

    CWR tonight

Christ it was embarrassing to listen to that Ricky bloke. I'd like to see him sterilised for the good of society.

    So let's have your MOtM

Wood, followed by Jennings, followed by Barton. Wood was superb, made countless tackles and defensive headers. Jennings was also class, rarely lost possession, and his work rate is unbelievable! Barton looks technically very good, and baring in mind he is young looks like a great purchase...

    Baker

How can anyone say Baker played well, he was completely anonymous! When in possession he lingered and was eventually muscled off it. Jennings and Barton were very good in midfield, but Baker and Kilbane were poor.

    Malaga

As for Malaga, looks decent, confident on the ball and looks to keep possession which I like. However lacks a bit of strength and pace, but overall good debut!

    Malaga

Sat in block 23, ideal position and looked about a foot over the line

    Worried

bollocks, absolutely class prior to going to birmingham. Had to have surgery on a persistent knee injury and that's certainly hampered his pace. He'll get 10-15 goals this year and create another 5 or 6, good enough for me!

Crainie goes up in the world!!!!!

Well you say it isn't but continue with your point anyway. Leeds have signed a lot of players recently and therefore must consider their wage budget, additionally they already have two centre backs and two full backs as good as Craine (White, Peltier, Lees and Pearce). Can they afford to be...

Crainie goes up in the world!!!!!

Doubt it's as black and white as that, definitely good enough to be in and around the Leeds side. As for Keogh, Derby is hardly a glamour move..
