Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

It's the best of both worlds, CCC retain security and the club, well hopefully the club and not SISU, get all the benefits of ownership. However at present SISU have given no indication that they would consider such a deal, stating they won't deal with the council and are only interested in the...

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

Ignoring the fact you've said no one is interested in buying the club what indication is there that SISU, who already claim to have put in £60m (plus last seasons losses and the cost of purchasing the freehold) would be prepared to sell the whole lot at a huge loss?

    Potential Protest @ JR?

Any idea how long it will do on for? Are we talking a couple of days or will it be weeks of pulling out loads of irrelevant documents?

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

How are talks going to start when SISU are insisting they are building a new ground and are only interested in the freehold? If that stance has changed they need to make that known publically, state there is no new ground, they are interested in a leasehold and they will pay a fair price...

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

Don't think it's a problem if CCC retain the freehold. They can put clauses is which, if breached by SISU, cause the lease to terminate. Things like any attempt to put us into admin, charge us rent, take out finance against the lease etc.

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

So have they finally submitted a bid to purchase the lease?

    More united than we realise

A lot of people would agree with this, myself included, however SISU have stated they are only interested in outright ownership which would make this a non starter. If they were interested in going down this route then it's a fairly straightforward process. Make an offer for Higgs 50%, they...

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

It doesn't need to be made public for SISU to make a bid based on its contents. They have been saying they can't place a bid as they don't know the value yet they have their own report showing the value so why have they not submitted a bid? If their report says its only worth £1 then put in an...

    Sisu have ACL valuation !!!!!!!!

People could try and spin that but the key thing would be if SISU had a valuation done which states ACL is worth, lets say £2m and they offer £2m they can show people the report and have proof they are offering market value.

    Another smashing day in court

So what do we have so far. Taken to court twice (not sure if it was the same case twice or 2 separate cases) by ACL over non payment of rent, lost both times - I seem to recall they didn't even enter a defence. Initial application for JR rejected. Initial application for access to documents...

    Sisu have ACL valuation !!!!!!!!

Wouldn't that be in their favour? They could put in a low offer and if CCC reject it they can state that their offer is fair and in line with the valuation they have had done. That would put pressure on the council to justify their stance.

Council and Sky Blues in court tomorrow

ACL have taken SISU to court twice over rent arrears and won on both occasions.

Tim Fisher - "you'll be back after 3 matches"

Seems odd then that our away attendance is higher than our home attendance and that we've taken huge away followings to grounds further away than Sixfields.

Council and Sky Blues in court tomorrow

The tone of the judges summing up, well as far as you can tell from twitter, and a couple of his other comments seem to indicate he things SISU were wasting everyone's time. Can we read into anything the fact they wanted so many documents. Could that be an indication they don't have what they...

Council and Sky Blues in court tomorrow

They certainly need a Palace-esque last few minutes to be able to spin this as anything other than a defeat.

Council and Sky Blues in court tomorrow

The talk of it being pushed back was because SISU wanted access to so many documents. If they had been give access I suspect they would have been given more time to go over them resulting in the JR being delayed. Can't see any reason now that things won't go ahead on schedule.

Council and Sky Blues in court tomorrow

I think the idea is that the loan is secured against an asset (the lease) and should SISU default the council gain possession of an asset of greater value than the outstanding balance. They can either put the lease up for sale in the hope of achieving a sale price greater than the amount owed or...

Council and Sky Blues in court tomorrow

I had an argument with one of the councillors about that. Basically accused them of saying it was coming from central funds when it was actually paid out of their reserves and was told it was an administration thing. It had been decided that it was the most efficient way to carry out the...

Council and Sky Blues in court tomorrow

Are they saying theres no record of anything connected with the loan or just one particular meeting? Has was the decision ultimately made, was a vote held? That would be recorded somewhere wouldn't it?

Council and Sky Blues in court tomorrow

We need to know if its a meeting that should, according to council usual procedure / regulations, be minuted. If it isn't then it's a non issue, if it is then the council will need to explain why it hasn't been.
