To me, that record says that in all of the teams where he has started regularly he has scored a decent haul of goals. The fact that he scored well in league 2, 1 and the champ shows that he can play at a higher level (or at least he could back then, I am prepared to accept that he may no longer...

It wasn't about Oggy specifically, it was a general point about something not being right behind the scenes at the club which inevitably leads to players not performing to their best.

Pompey are another example. Ok they are recovering a bit now under fan ownership but it was disastrous management that led to their downfall. Leaving dodgy Harry to his own devices for one thing.

I think thats why TM insisted on bringing in Clapham and Venus. Our backroom staff hasn't been right for ages. I think Oggy is happy being a keeper coach though and doesn't get too involved in anything else. You'd think he would have had a spell as caretaker manager by now if he had any...

Wasn't that long ago that Randy Lerner was being held up as the shining example of "the right way" for a foreign owner to run a club. They have underachieved lately but i certainly wouldn't lump them in the same boat as us or Blackpool. Newcastle are a funny one, they aren't badly run as such...

I'd rather have Henderson from Rochdale, but McLeod wouldn't be a bad signing. Can't see it happening though. Loan strikers from Everton and Spurs seem more likely.

First season in the prem with Norwich he only made 22 appearances, of which only 10 were starts. The next season he only made 13 appearances. Maybe he just wasn't good enough for the prem but where he has played regularly he has scored consistently.

Agree. His confidence is low and its not hard to see why. Scoring the goal that got Norwich promoted to the prem and then basically being told "thanks for getting us promoted now fooooookkkk off" would knock any player. Moves to Germany and then Millwall didn't work out for him with hardly any...

Refreshing to see that the management team are looking to develop all areas of the club, not just the first team. Planning for the future, decent manager, filling in the potholes........ not sure i can cope with all the positivity!
