Yeah, any hug should have been elongated.

End of racism in this country, hoorah!!

I'm not clever enough to make that deduction unfortunately.

What needs to be done for Colchester?

From watching the game yesterday, I would say all of them.

    Meltdown

And this is what worries me about making the playoffs and not the automatic places. Bound sure to play on the players' minds for that home leg and the fans will be dead nervous too, having seen it all before. Can't see that we would go into the home leg with any degree of confidence. It would...

Yeah, but I did also notice that their subs didn't come out at all at half time. Manager probably said not to bother as it was all too piss easy.

We created one I believe. The one where the ball came over from the left in the second half and Vincenti volleyed it over from about 10 yards out.

He does have point though. When Stokes was lining up that shot in the first half the guy behind me was rustling some sweet wrappers.

15 games to save his job.

You can't expect any player to score from zero chances to score.

Match Thread Coventry City at Colchester United Match Thread - Tuesday 13th Feb

2 nil defeat, unless Robins mixes it up a bit. May change my thoughts when I see Tuesday's lineup.

    Meltdown

But then 5 wins out of 15 is not good enough if you have aspirations of a top 3 place and Robins has said promotion is the aim.

    Harsh, but true.

What needs to be done for Colchester?

We did pretty much only start hoofing it long from the keeper yesterday after half time. It did at least push the Stanley defence back, but it didn't really work at all did it. Biamou and McNulty play too far apart for McNulty to benefit from any knock downs.

Is it worth me opening the link for 3 and half seconds of action?

    WE are gradually getting worse

I think that boat has sailed. When asked on CWR, Baker said it could be a month, could be a year, he had no idea. Even if it is month he's not going to be match fit for probably another month after that, so you are looking at April. Bit pointless really.

    Meltdown

If you look back recently too, against Swindon Biamou hit a worldly. Probably wouldn't do that again if he had another 30 attempts. There was not any creativity involved. Long punt from the keeper, ball fell to him and he blasted it. Against both Cambridge and Swindon McNulty hit two great...

    Meltdown

I am a very optimistic person on the whole, but what concerns me as much as anything is that all our creativity is pretty much coming through Bayliss of late and earlier in the season it was pretty much all coming through Jodi Jones. Add to that we have lost both Grimmer and Davies for several...

    Throwing the season away

Yep, it was only after the game, but we all knew before the game that a virus had gone round the camp. You don't even need to have an 11 Plus certificate to understand that if we take our top striker off it is most likely because of the virus or because he's injured.

    Throwing the season away

Never thought I would hear myself say this, but yeah, I agree. Only a week ago I wanted him nowhere near our club, but watching what JMD doesn't offer and Barrett not showing anything at all yet either, I think all we have to look to Reid or Shipley.

    Meltdown

And we do keep losing away. Just five wins in 15 away games. We have been overly reliant on our home form and yesterday that all came crashing down. I don't think it's over yet, but it is a big concern that we may well slide now. Stating the bleedin obvious, but Tuesday is crucial.

    Meltdown

I would agree, but that is two defeats and two dreadful performances in a row. Think that does make a difference. One defeat in isolation, yep I agree with you, but two in a row and the manner of those two defeats, where we have looked much more like relegation fodder than promotion candidates...
