    Jordan Ponticelli

Best thing we could do for him (and us) now is to get him a permanent transfer to a non-league side. Let him go for free/nominal fee but attach a sizeable sell on clause on the off chance he does come good at some point.

    Callum Wilson

If Bournemouth are relegated I can see him staying with them for a season at least to see if they come back up. He's never been the type to agitate for a move and Bournemouth would struggle to replace him.

January Transfer Window - Who do we want?

Agree. Promotion to the champ is the only chance we have of SISU putting us up for sale and being able to return to the Ricoh under a new owner. We need bums on seats to keep the cash coming in to give us the best possible chance of going up.

Ponticelli - Call the poor guy back now

Would assume he will move on in January. As has been said multiple times, he would be getting minutes at Tranmere if he was good enough. I even think league 2 is a bit ambitious, top end conference would be about the right level and see if he can get a promotion under his belt.

    Euromillions Tonight-Invest in Cov?

I'd actually find winning £170 million quite stressful. I know that sounds pathetic bit think about it, you can't just stick that amount of money on the bank and forget about it, it has to be managed and it would almost be a job in itself. Hypothetically if I won £170 million I'd team up with a...

    Euromillions Tonight-Invest in Cov?

£169 million sounds like a lot but a club like Cov could soon burn through that. Building a stadium for the club to use isn't a bad idea but you'd need a watertight legal agreement to protect yourself against future liabilities and costs

Match Thread Rotherham United vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 5th Oct

Seems an odd bench given that we could have put either of Wakefield or Bapaga in the squad as cover for Kastaneer. Or could have had Biamou in there to go 4-4-2

    Hiwula & Jobello

Never made sense to me that Burton were apparently so willing to let him go, makes you wonder if they knew something we didn't.

    Addai

Bilson has gone out on loan now so presume Addai will come back into the U23 side

They go out on the clubs twitter feed eventually, takes a while though usually.

    First choice midfield

I just worry about dropping contracted players for loanees. Sends the wrong message I feel to players like Shipley who have battled their way into the first team. Yes it's clear O'Hare has talent in spades and we have to use it of course but O'Hare won't be here next season and Shipley probably...

    U23 v Hull

On recent showings i would say Bremang is pushing ahead of Baka as well. Its nice that there are several u23 players all making progress at the same time, Williams, Drysdale, Bapaga, Eccles and Bremang all looking like they can transition to the first team and Wakefield is regaining his...

    First choice midfield

Not seen enough of Walsh to make a judgement to be fair but I couldn't contemplate putting him in the side at the expense of Kelly.

    First choice midfield

A lot depends on how Jones turns out. A lot of players just don't come back from the kind of injuries he's had. They may regain fitness but something changes with them and they never look the same player they did before. I really hope that's not the case with Jones, would be brilliant to add him...

    Bolton Latest Announcement

I watched Rochdale a lot during the Keith Hill years and it was for the most part good entertaining football and he certainly had a knack of picking up either non League gems or players from divisions above who's career had stalled for whatever reason and managed to get the best out of them.

Transfer Rumour Liam Walsh season loan

Agree he will be but can't see Scunthorpe picking up much of his wage, perhaps 50% at best?

    Bolton Latest Announcement

Most of them are only on loan or short term contracts until January. Think it was just a case of who was available and willing to sign. Not a big pool to pick from. I still rate Keith Hill as a manager though, think he is as his best when given no money to spend and he knows how to hold his own...

    Addai

That's understandable, especially if they were paying some or all of Addai's wages.
