Cheers for that. Was just looking over two games and not just last night and of the possibility of two rivals dropping points and knowing it was highly unlikely for a team that hasn't won since December (Port Vale) to suddenly pick up back to back wins against two of the top teams in the division.

So, Crawley v Wycombe tonight. Fingers crossed Crawley do us a favour. Crawley are 8 points behind us, but not entirely out of it yet.

    If you could rename EVERYTHING!

I would change 'bungalow' too, cos it sounds too much like someone has made a botch job of building it. Either that, or stick with 'bungalows' and then call houses 'bungahighs.' I wouldn't call an apartment and apartment either, unless it was built all by itself away from the others. If it is...

    If you could rename EVERYTHING!

Same as when they say 'In days of yore.' Should be 'In days of our.' Shouldn't be a 'microscope' either unless it belongs to me.

The Walking Dead - Season 7

The best thing about the show at the moment is that Carl is no longer in it.

Lincoln are behind us, so it's only the one isn't it, Notts County?

7 might well be. Could be exciting times ahead. The only two games that really concern me are Newport and Notts County away. Would take two draws there if we could win the rest for sure.

We win all our games and we are in the playoffs minimum and would almost certainly be promoted. 88 points? Would surely clinch it.

Yep. Fingers crossed. Sounds like they put in a decent effort tonight and went close a few times. They are still in real trouble, so do still need the points. Interesting to note that Crewe won tonight (took them to 40 points) and the fans were all singing 'we're staying up.' Port Vale win...

We will just go round in circles. I am simply looking at today's AND Saturday's games and we want Wycombe to drop points too. I clearly never said I wanted a draw and a point for Exeter. If you look at my post I suggested a best case scenario. I most certainly did NOT want Exeter to pick up...

Still in the play-offs though. Doesn't matter if we are 4th or 7th. All that matters is that we are still there and there's a chance to make the points back up again on Saturday.

I want Wycombe to drop points too, as we all should. I most certainly did not WANT Exeter to draw. And we both know it's not an imaginary effect. History and stats tell you if you lose it has a psychological effect on a team and can leave you downhearted and low on moral.

A draw for Port Vale tonight would have given them a bit of hope, but wouldn't see them safe. A win tonight would have almost certainly seem them safe and not needing any points at Wycombe. At least now they desperately do need the points.

It was crystal clear and made perfect sense. No-one wanted a rival to get any points, so let's not twist that one round like a dodgy politician. And less of the 'no-one' understands my logic. Just speak for yourself, thanks. A draw tonight for Port Vale that would then give them heart going...

    This stuff writes itself

Is it one of Chris Coleman's? Think he dropped one when he ditched his cushy little Welsh number for the basket case that is Sunderland.

All over. Port Vale 0-1 Exeter. 13 games without a win. On to Saturday and hopefully Port Vale can get a point against Wycombe somehow.
