Whatever the reason behind the scenes it’s this stuff that gives refs a bad name. Everyone knows the rule. Everyone in the arena could see it being broken. But for some reason it’s not enforced.
Think it belies a huge ego TBH Pete. He clearly thinks he’s turned us from a lower half champ side to play off contenders and Robins was letting his big project down.
Got in late so missed it, just heard the chant from the car park. He deserved it and everyone’s been moaning the club didn’t do anything. It’s a bit weird but this whole thing is a bit weird.
Legally or in my opinion? I’m fairly sure international law is such that you just have to make it to the country. As I said above I think the scale of fraud for asylum seeking across the world has probably made such a system untenable.
No our processes. We only have legal routes for people from a limited number of countries is my understanding. Some places the only way to claim asylum is by arriving here.
Not for all countries there aren’t.
I hate to say it, but the level of fraud worldwide in the asylum system is going to end it wholesale and I don’t know what happens then.
Would have clapped them both at the end. Massive Hamer fan, probably my all time favourite city player. Thought clapping him at a corner during a game was one of the most pathetic things I’ve seen.
Thats all tactical though, not about the quality of the squad. We just don’t have anyone with an understanding of how to set up a defence or teach pass and move attacking patterns it seems.
