Wasps set to play key home matches at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry

What's the deal with London Wasps, are they genuinely without somewhere to play and we'd be doing them a favour or is it a similar situation to us going to Sixfields? If their fans are in favour then I have no problem with it, worries about the pitch aside which we can't really complain about if...

With Just a Little Success Our Club Could Really Take Off...

I think we could be a sustainable championship side but at that point you hit the issue that you're competing with teams who will happily lose millions a year. Of course spending more doesn't automatically make you successful but it certainly helps. Problem is what do we class as success...

    season tickets

This is an issue with whatever backend system they are using. It has never worked in IE and doesn't work particularly well in general, things like password resets always seem to fail. I guess they use that system rather than someone like ticketmaster as the cost is lower but it would be nice if...

There's A Couple Of Hours I'll Never Get Back

I don't think the prices are bad really, look at what other teams charge and we're pretty good value. Never been a fan of prices going up on matchday, can only put people off who think about going at the last minute. Didn't they ditch it at one point as they had constant complaints about it?

    Attendance for Gillingham

So what, if any, record will we beat? We've topped 30K twice, 31,407 for Chelsea and 31,054 for the JPT. 28,184 is the highest FL attendance - that was against Leeds in Nov 2010. Record in L1 is 15,185, against Shrewsbury on New Years Day 2013 - we should be able to beat that one at least.

what song should the players run out to on the 5th of september ?

Cheesy songs like Boys are Back in Town, 3 Lions etc will probably get played in the hour or so before the game. I'd go Mr Blue Sky and the either Twist and Shout or Sky Blue Song for the team coming out. Definitely no goal music.

    Seating changes for Ricoh Return

I get the idea but my preference would be to start selling away tickets from block 11 & 12 and the release more when needed. Close off say 24-27 and 32-35 along with how ever many rows at the back you need to bring the capacity down to the required level. That should mean not too many people...

what song should the players run out to on the 5th of september ?

Maybe they could get the marching band in and they could play the Sky Blue Song with everyone singing along.

Why do we, or anyone else for that matter, not put clauses in contracts relating to what division we are in. Something like in the championship you get paid x amount, in L1 y amount. Add in decent bonus for promotion so a player has some incentive for staying and trying to get us back up. You...

    Carl Baker

So last season, where the general consensus is he was well below his best in the second half of the season, he got 7 goals and 7 assists. Can you see any of our current midfield doing as well or better than that? He's not a world beater, if he was he wouldn't be playing in L1, but is he worse...

If I thought this was SP's decision I'd find it easier to accept but we're talking about a player who, just 6 months ago, he was warning other clubs off and talking about how vital he was to his plans. Now we can all argue about how good he is or isn't but his stats over the last couple of...

    The Ricoh Affect

A lot will come down to how we start. Bright start, win a couple of games and hopefully we can retain a decent sized crowd and a positive atmosphere. A first 45 mins like we had against Cardiff and we all know what will happen.

    waggott pledge

Its unreasonable to expect 60p in every £ spent to be given directly to SP, we'd have no money left to run the club! For me I'll be happy if money generated is going into the club and not to pay SISU management fees, interest charges, lawyers etc. Of course that is going to be hard to tell until...

    MK Dons Thread

Sounded a pretty dire game lacking someone who could do something to spark the game. A point away from home is fine with me.

    We're Coming Home, Are You?

Wasn't aimed at anyone in particular, more a general observation. As long as I've been going (since 86) there's been people making excuses not to go and I get the impression they just like to have a moan. Remove the reason they say they don't go and they just find another one. The move to the...

Back into the usual Saturday routine, having an argument with the wife about how we can't go out as I need to listen to the match on Sky Blues Player!

    We're Coming Home, Are You?

We've always had people who will find an excuse not to go. Not going until Dowie / Coleman / Thorn go, not going because of the parking, not going because of stadium location etc etc. If people don't want to go it's not that hard to find an excuse but you get the impression they are people who...

    We're Coming Home, Are You?

And if we want new owners what is more attractive to a potential buyer, a team getting 15 - 20K a week or one getting less than 10K?

Why are we not wearing our 1st kit? Doesn't clash with MK does it, unless they've added a load of blue this year.

    Fisher must go

That depends what the expectation of him was. If he was expected to get the club back with ownership of the Ricoh he has failed, if he was expected to get the attendances he claimed at Sixfields he has failed. From what we're hearing this offer has been on the table for a while, if it was what...
