I've consistently criticised the vitriol, but he deserves criticism for his performances. As for not knowing what's going on behind the scenes, you're right, but that applies to every player, manager, coach etc. But we can only comment on what we see. Simms and Asante got lots of criticism...

Why? He was awful for 3 months and didn't score a goal. Do you think people should be embarrassed for criticising Ben Wilson because he once won golden gloves or is their criticism of him valid?

An individual criticising him is one thing, but his name always gets sung. There's been no lack of support for him during games.

Very early yet but great start from our point of view.

But it does excuse some of the defending when we're so gung ho. When we played 5atb for a period of games last year we were far tighter defensively with the same players and a far worse keeper.

He'd be just what we need. We're getting too over run too often in midfield for my liking at the moment.
