    Delusion?

Wouldn't an appeal take it out of the councils hands?

    Delusion?

Sorry but this is absolute rubbish. Look how many people were on the marches and how many people are at games. Seems to me pretty much everyone who said they would come back has. Remember not everyone goes to everygame so you have to allow for that in the total number. Our average since we've...

    Aptly named: Black Friday

I'm with you there, its like when the wife comes back from town telling me how much she's saved. You haven't saved anything you've been spending money! I could do with a new fridge but I'm not getting involved in that carnage for the sake of saving £50. Do keep an eye on Amazon in case any Blu...

    Trust meeting with wasps

Is that your desktop background Nick? I assume one of them is PH4 with Hoffman and Elliot, who's the other loon?

Again 365 days revenue blah blah

If the rumours of them needing 25K a game are anywhere near accurate there has to be a fair chance they'll be going bankrupt anyway.

    If its all about revenues

Not quite sure what that has to do with what's being discussed but renting isn't the problem, getting the right deal is. You could have a deal where you pay £1 a year and get 100% of revenues or you could have a deal where you pay £1.2m a year and get 0% of revenues. Very different things. The...

    If its all about revenues

Good point, why does everything need to be in one place. The NEC is up for sale isn't it, if we need non-matchday revenues why not buy that as I'm sure it will make more money than the Fisher Bowl.

Again 365 days revenue blah blah

365 days revenue is a great soundbyte but to have any meaning we need to know what figures we're talking about. I'm sure the accounts for ACL are avaialble and have been scruitinised on here so it shouldn't be too hard to see how much it would be if we had ownership of the Ricoh. Of course we'd...

    If wasps

I don't for a minute think that Wasps have moved here with the intention of buying us but there could be situations in which they would consider it and if the situation arouse I'd certainly be interested to hear what they had to say. Not sure I agree that we should blindly welcome them on the...

Baker exit -football reasons or wages?

Just as well we're on this great run of form leading up to the new year then isn't it!

Baker exit -football reasons or wages?

Quick look at Soccerbase tells me he played in 21 games (16 starts, 5 sub appearances) and we won 4 drew 6 and lost 11 with Baker scoring 4 goals. Personally I would have Murphy, Moussa, Baker and Wilson all back in our side if we could so I guess our opinions differ.

    Leon Clarke

I'm not sure on this. Should we take back a play who allegedly refused to play, especially when there's rumours of trouble in the dressing room already. Of course the flip side is we were a much better side with him playing. Tough call.

Baker exit -football reasons or wages?

Apparently Baker was MOTM last night for MK Dons, second game in a row. Given they're 4th and we're 18th and since he's come into their side he's played 3, scored 2 and been man of the match twice I think there's a chance he's better than some of the players we have here now! It's not fun for...

Baker exit -football reasons or wages?

The way it happened it has to be money. I know SP seems to fall out with a lot of players and make some strange signings but even he can't think that Baker is worse than every player in our current squad. Then the question becomes what happens to that money, was is SP's choice as he thought...

    Wasps

That would be my solution, think something radical is needed but I'm not sure the EU wouldn't start interfering if spending caps were implemented. I'd go for a spending cap and a spending floor for each division. If you can't / won't meet the spending floor you can't get promoted. I'd have a...

    Wasps

Southampton have, according to the locals, wiped out the vast majority of their debt over the summer as all their players left and they didn't spend anywhere near as much as they got in. Of course at the start of the season the fans weren't happy as they didn't think enough had been spent and...

Coventry City FC giant crests may be moved at Ricoh as Wasps make mark on stadium

Said this before but I'd be more than happy with a compromise, if we permanently had yellow and black for our away kit and Wasps had Sky Blue for their away kit we could have different stands in different colours (obviously try to do it so it doesn't look terrible) and everyone's happy.

    Morale as a ccfc fan

How has the general slow decline of ccfc from the premiership years taken its toll on your life in general? Wouldn't say taken a toll. Weekends have certainly changed since the move to Sixfields. Up until then I would rush home for the phone in on Friday and then my Saturday would be planned...

    Wasps

You've highlighted a problem with football generally and why it was such a bad idea for a hedge fund to get involved. Running at break even its very hard, if not impossible to get anywhere. We have some of the biggest crowds in the division yet are going nowhere fast. Admittedly we don't get the...

Coventry City FC giant crests may be moved at Ricoh as Wasps make mark on stadium

If it's something like that then I don't see any problem. They are obviously going to want to put their own crest up. If they're moving it to somewhere it isn't visible, if that place even exists, or taking it down for good then we could have a moan but don't see anything wrong with this...
