    "Underlying numbers"

That surprises me cos it doesn’t feel like we’ve missed loads of sitters this season.

In fact the more I think about it the more I think some of the money raised should have gone towards increasing pension credit or lowering the threshold, but no idea if the sums add up.

Ideally we get someone permanent in cos MvE is likely off in the summer I reckon.

Don’t we have a lot of low quality shots though? Even Saturday when we battered them on shots I don’t remember a huge amount of clear cut chances.

But that’s a threshold argument. It’s like the old joke: would you sleep with me for £1m? “Yes” would you for £10? “What do you think I am??” We know what you are, we’re just negotiating on price. We agree Elton John shouldn’t get it and people genuinely in need should. I’m open to the idea...

Ultimately if people are pushed into poverty by losing the WFP then their support wasn’t enough in the first place. I think like the farms there’s a good argument to be had over the right thresholds, but in both cases most people agree the general principle is sound.

I just can’t seriously believe we’d hold off on a new manager if it was all sorted tbh. Have him in watching in the stands if you don’t want to disrupt prep for games.

Starmer has only gone and done it the absolute mad lad! (This is because of a storm, maybe we can do weather manipulation 🤔)

Reading that I’m surprised at both the claims and the fact the government couldn’t present sufficient evidence to counter them. No evidence of an imbalance between workers and employers? No evidence of businesses firing people in the first two years unreasonably? You can disagree about whether...

Always the way: defensive player, attacking manager and visa versa. Looks at Robins FFS.

Think there’s a touch more economic incentive for office space in Shanghai and Dubai than getting pissed up Ciry fans home thirty seconds earlier.

King said basically that Stamenic was a proposed replacement for Sheaf. I think people are confused if they think we’ve planned to add another money signing to the midfield. Suggests Sheaf was close to going.
