Questions for Waggott and Fisher at the Trust open meeting

Which makes the point even stronger, the less Wasps are actually paying the less sense it makes for SISU to build a new ground rather than make a similar offer.

Maybe we could nick Pompey's plan to build one in the sea

Questions for Waggott and Fisher at the Trust open meeting

Can you ask Fisher how many turkeys it takes to make an eagle.

A vote of no confidence in the City of Coventry?

They should have the Bees racing round outside the pitch at the same time.

A vote of no confidence in the City of Coventry?

What are you on about? It seems to me if Blaze formed in 96 and moved to Cov 4 years later that is more comparable to Arsenal (formed in 1886 and moved in 1913) than Wimbledon (formed in 1889 and moved in 2003). How have you got from that to not being able to complain if we moved to Dublin?

A vote of no confidence in the City of Coventry?

To give it a football reference probably closer to Arsenal and people don't go round calling them a franchise team.

There was another chap on the radio just after the story broke from CRFC, wasn't Rosborough, but he didn't seem too against it either. Biggest concern seemed to be that if they moved their academy up here that it was linked up to CRFC rather than any other local team. I've been surprised, to be...

A vote of no confidence in the City of Coventry?

No idea if it's true or not but someone once told me when having this type of discussion that Solihull couldn't complain as they moved the team from Birmingham in the first place. As I say could be total bollocks, anyone of those more knowledgable on this subject know if there's anything to that?

    sisu on the ropes

I'm not a local taxpayer but I'm sure for those that are it is fairly easy to speak to and question your councillors. I would imagine what councils do and don't disclose is covered by some form of regulation so if they aren't revealing information that should be in the public domain there would...

Took my wife to a boxing day game a few years ago as she didn't want to be left with my Mum at home, she still complains about how terrible it was! I just say to her, think what its like for me, I've had decades of this.

    sisu on the ropes

Exactly, how many statements have we had from SISU over the years about transparency and engaging with the fans and every time they're basically saying just go with what we are saying at the moment and we'll improve things in the future. There's only so many times you can try that trick before...

Maybe, although it has been claimed that the council are rushing this through and selling it on the cheap!

    sisu on the ropes

I'd imagine it will be about three weeks :D SISU should get a line of t-shirts in the club shop with 3 weeks, turkeys and eagles and all the other bollocks on them. Would make a fortune!

Personally I think it's better not to have any fragmented groups. The best course of action would be to bring it up at the trust meeting and go from there. A united front is needed now and going forward and I think the trust, as a formal organisation with a constitution, are best placed to do that.

    Protest Tuesday

In what way? It feels like that to me as well but I can't work out who is doing the setting up or what is going on in the background. The only conclusions I can draw from the conversation you had with Joy about SISU not being interested in owning the Ricoh is one of: 1) They are incompetent at...

    sisu on the ropes

Even now if SISU were to present a credible plan for the long term security of the club I'd be prepared to full consideration and if it stood up to scrutiny would have my full support. Problem is we have no idea what is going on. They claim that moving to a new stadium will benefit us but won't...

    Protest Tuesday

Problem is unless we're going to try and register it as a community asset and buy it ourselves (as in the fans not SISU) what can we do? Our owners repeatedly say they are not interested in the Ricoh and are building a new ground. We can't force them to buy it.

How have you come to that conclusion? The club currently has a 4 year agreement to play at the Ricoh which, as far as we know, will stand no matter who owns ACL. This is the length requested by the club as after that period we will be moving into our new stadium. Based on what SISU are telling...

    Protest Tuesday

I was up for it but now I don't think I'll be there, depending on what else comes out of course. What would we actually be protesting about? SISU have been clear that they aren't interested in bidding for the Ricoh and are building us our own ground. We have a contract in place until that point...
