    Match Thread Doyle Kelly song

I think Doyle has been one of our main positive players this season. He isn't someone who is going to be the most creative but he plays to his strengths and what he does he does really well. I noticed at the end of the game today that Robins thanked every player but Doyle was last and he gave...

    Copthorne Park

Played for my school team against Copthorne School on that site. It would need owners who genuinely have the interests of the football club at heart. No chance of that at the moment.

Match Thread Luton Town - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 28th Oct

First time today that in over 50 years of watching I haven't cheered a Coventry goal. At 2-0 I was on to win £180. Nazon sticks the ball in the net and it disappears. The moral of the story is don't bet on a score for your team as it is never right not wanting them to score. Learnt my lesson.

I think Doyle has played well this season.

Is it really that date? Why is it far in the future?

Put toBed Once and for all then

Maybe that is the answer. Someone who loves the club buys Sisu.

    Dale Evans .......

Why would the chap from Stratford be a crony of Hoffman's? Crony is a disparaging term. I can understand why some people would have a go at Hoffman due to his previous connections, although I wouldn't agree with them. The guy from Stratford is sponsoring the academy, (surely a good thing) and...

    Dale Evans .......

There would be no harm in them saying discussions with Wasps are ongoing, if they are. The problem for Fisher and friends would be that with 8 months and 15 games until we are homeless that they have not had discussions with anyone. That would be a difficult announcement, if true, to put across...

    Dale Evans .......

When I heard him on the radio on Friday he just sounded so implausible,"Can someone gives me Gary Hoffman's number?" But he has kept going despite getting dogs abuse apparently. The fact that he would be willing to subject himself and his family to even worse if this all turns out to be a wind...

    Dale Evans .......

Listened to Coventry and Warwickshire for the last two news bulletins. No mention of this. Is that; no news is good news or that Dale is just having us on?

Latest Sky Blue Trust leter to Timmy

What about removing the club from Coventry and moving it to Northampton. Would this not be evidence of neglect. Even the judge commented that the purpose of this move was to distress ACL, not for the good of the club. When you look how much that move cost the club in terms of lost revenue and...

Match Thread Luton Town - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 28th Oct

I think we will win 2-0 as well. We have been the better team in every game we have played this season with the possible exception of the game at Accrington. All of this without playing very well. I think a team that comes at us will allow us to pick them off. I will probably put a tenner on...

Imagine if Sunderland came to town....

Link to the game on YouTube. You can see the amount of Bristol fans on the Kop when they scored their second. Segregation seems pretty ropey but no trouble as I remember.

Imagine if Sunderland came to town....

Just being pedantic so apologies. There was nothing like 20k Bristol fans there that night. Seven or eight thousand maybe. They were allocated a good part of the Kop. However, West End, Sky Blue Stand and Main Stand sides as well as at least 50% of the Kop were sky blue. What did the Kop terrace...

The all new sparkling positivity thread

Has Robins had a change of philosophy this season? During his first spell and for most games when he arrived last season we played slick, fast flowing football. This season we seem to take an age to get the ball from defence to attack ( excluding when we hoof it). The loss of Andreu and the non...

    Coventry Biennial Contemporary art

Just got back from this. I have to say that I didn't realise how big this place was. It is like a factory. I would think that anyone who worked here would be sad to see what was once obviously a vibrant place run down and neglected. During its heyday the CET must have been a fairly big employer...

    Prehistoric Robins and his favourites!

I don't think Colchester threatened our goal once. Not excusing what was another poor display by us.

    City of Culture Bid

Sorry if mentioned already, I haven't read all of the posts. Port Vale, bottom of League Two at the time, played here a few weeks ago wearing a special kit used to promote Stoke's rival City of Culture bid. Now they do have genuine potteries opposition in Stoke City, bigger club, better history...

    Coventry Airport

My son is in his third year as a teacher. The highest mortgage he could get on his wage was 90k. There are very few houses in the Coventry Nuneaton area for that. His wife has just found a new job and returned to work after the birth of their first child. She has a one year contract that may or...
