They were a team, Robins takes overall credit and rightly so. Viveash deserves credit too but MR didn’t become a bad manager without him and of course, his first spell without AV was going well.

I fundamentally disagree with the premise that Doug King always wanted to sack Robins. A lot of the arguments in favour of this premise was the supposed undermining of Robins position i.e. signing players without MR’s input, sacking AV, the Performance Director and ofc, the coaching structure...

We tried to loan Joe Worrall but the thing is, players like him are the kind Prem teams want to move off their books permanently. Which is why he ended up at Burnley permanently!
