    New Stadium Announcement

What about if we accept that it's just for a stadium and nothing else. We're not here discussing price of the land, it's being categorically stated that there is no site in the city that a stadium can be built on, I'm questioning if that is correct. We won't get planning permission or we won't...

    Minority Rapport

Previously we were the primary tenant renting from a company owned by our local council and a local charity who, at least theoretically, should have had an interest in what was best for the club. Now we are owned by a rugby club from London who will have little thought for our club other than...

    New Stadium Announcement

Surely there must be some sites in Coventry where you can build a football stadium. Doesn't necessarily have to be a site with nothing on now, they could buy a site thats in use and replace what is there if they wanted to. What happened to the old Courtaulds site, has that all be put to use...

    Sisu

Firstly Wasps have stated they have no interest in buying us so unless there is another buyer around it's SISU or nothing. Secondly SISU aren't going to leave without some ROI, at the moment it appears they can run the club in L1 and break even so they can just hang around for years hoping...

    Who's there tomorrow?

I thought I was lazy! Why are you getting a taxi if you live 10 mins walk away?! :p If you have decided to go that's your decision. Personally I will never go as I think it's a disgrace that Wasps are now in Coventry. Saying that I don't understand how you can not see why people think our fans...

Its a game of two halves

For me it's less the formation and more the lack of pressure. At home we should be putting the visitors under pressure from the start. For some reason, no matter what formation we play, we let the other side come at us and we're usually chasing the game from then on.

    SISU in court

That's the point! If selling to us would be a bail out as we're losing money how is it not the same thing selling to Wasps who are also losing millions every year?

    The Haynes Pen Shout

Has SP said something to piss the refs off, we don't seem to be getting much recently.

That's the problem with using loans, if they do well they will either go back or command a fee.

    New Stadium Announcement

If it was a business to business transaction then I would totally agree with you but the council has a different remit and I would argue that the fortunes of a club that has been based here since 1883, and will hopefully be here long after the current owners have gone, should have a bearing on...

    SISU in court

So selling to us would be a bail out but selling to Wasps is not, what's the difference? On what basis is the ratepayer of Coventry better represented by a rugby side from London than it's own football team? How many people when they hear Wasps mentioned will make a connection to Coventry?

Given how it sounded like we were playing and the fact we were behind I guess we'll take a point but we really should be winning games like this at home.

That's more like it. Wonder if they will go for it or try and hold on for a draw.

Just got in having got stuck in traffic on the way home, was hoping to come in to better news but its just like reading any number of recent matchday threads. The inability of SP to stop these types of performance is worrying. Losing is one thing but its the way we're losing that makes it so...

    Pitch to blame?

I blame Wasps, the change of dressing room and all that branding in the tunnel has put the sensitive dears off.

    New Stadium Announcement

So we're back once again to the same question. Did CCC offer CCFC a 250 year lease for £6m. If yes then fine, if not then it looks a lot like spite to me.

    SISU in court

But its acceptable to bail out a rugby club from London who are losing millions a year?

    SISU in court

Not my money, I don't live in Cov anymore! If a court makes any sort of award to SISU for damages then the blame should be with CCC as it will be because they have done something they shouldn't have, or are we saying CCC should be allowed to do whatever they like irrespective of the legality of...

    SISU in court

From a supporters point of view I think the best outcome is one which somehow ends with Wasps moving out and us being offered the same deal but that is hugely unlikely. Maybe the next best option is that SISU get a decent chunk of damages and at that point walk away. Then it would be fingers...

    Fleetwood Match Thread

In all seriousness is there any risk that it won't have bedded in and will start falling apart. If that's a possibility what happens when they ref says its too dangerous to play on, is there a backup plan? Knowing our luck we'll end up back at Sixfields for the rest of the season!
