Don't keep us in suspense, Joy!

Not sure about the company but our half which we originally owned came with all matchday revenues. That was the half we had the option to buy back so for £4m or whatever it was Higgs accepted we could have had that back.

Open letter from Joy and Tim

So what method did the FL use to calculate their £590K figure, was it coincidence that it was the same figure as the CVA? They either used the same method as the administrator and it is a p in the £ offer based on owed rent and compensation for the remaining term of the contract or they have...

Don't keep us in suspense, Joy!

That Swindon figure seems off to me. That would be a profit of £10.16 on every person who attends during the season. Even if they're running on a decent profit margin the spend per person it huge!

Open letter from Joy and Tim

Whatever they want it comes down to the same thing. If, as they claim, it is just for the remaining two years of the new stadium project it is largely irrelevant. How much do they receive at Northampton? Even if you don't consider the damage being done to the fan base if they would be £1 better...

That's what makes it tricky, if we take SISU at their word they are prepared to return to the Ricoh on a short term deal while the new stadium is built. The stadium should be ready in 2 years as we are 1 year into their 3 year plan. On that basis the whole argument, given that SISU say rent...

    Fair weather supporters

We need something like the tesco club card and get supporter points every time you go a game, buy merch etc. Then we can have endless threads about how many points we all have and who's the best fan :D

Which still leaves the question of how would SISU run the F&B as a more efficient operation than a company that specialises in that area? Just had a look at the Q&A and that shows a net profit of £119,903. Can anyone really look at the amount lost in ticket sales advertising, sponsorship etc...

Didn't something like that get suggested by ACL? They would give SISU access to some of their share, cross invoice and setup a meeting with Compass to discuss their side of the deal. Think is when you get down to it in the grand scheme of things, while having access to as much revenue as...

Has that figure actually been shown in ACLs accounts or was it something that Fisher just threw out as one of his facts? I would be amazed if the club could run F&B at a higher net profit than a company like compass. Its why so many venues make deals with companies like that, they may lose a %...

    Fair weather supporters

That's a totally different point to your original post. In your OP you stated there were more people on the march than went to the Ricoh, your own figures then showed this to be incorrect! If we were back at the Ricoh I expect there would be a bump at the start of the season with the excitement...

Even if you believe that by your own calculations there were still less people on the march than at the Ricoh every week!

You're looking at gross profit not net profit. For FFP (and other accounting and cash-flow reasons) you want to look at total income but for the bottom line you need to look at net profit. To give you an example at my place out gross profit was just short of 70% but net profit was only just...

    Today's shenanigans

I'm intrigued now, what did you have on that was classed as a SISU shirt?

That was always Mutton's point when he was leader of the council wasn't it. Although he never seemed to phrase it well and always made it sound confrontational. Unless I've misunderstood FFP it is based off revenues not profit so for Fisher and Sepalla to say in their open letter that 60p in...

I get what you're saying but ACL paid for them as part of the lease didn't they, just that we then sold our half on to Higgs.

    Baker off to Southport

It says worked at Southport, no idea if that's always been there a while or is new. It does say 'past: Coventry City' but there's no way he's moving down that far so at a guess he's tried to change something and not done it right, either that or he's had his contract terminated which would mean...

If they said tickets are going up £2 so we can come back I would have no problem with that. They could do something like have a tear off £2 pre paid voucher on the tickets then make a deal with Compass where they pay them back cost price for anything purchased using the vouchers. Would be more...

    The March Thread

Good effort from everyone involved. Seeing reports saying the attendance is even higher than last year. Been following on twitter, someone should make sure Sepalla and Fisher see this tweet from Simon Gilbert Things like that really show why this needs to be sorted ASAP. I dread something...
