Revenues - how much are they worth?

Or whatever someone is prepared to sell them for. If Compass, who are less likely to have any feelings one way or the other to CCFC, feel the value in retaining the company is greater than what they are being offered and / or what they have already put in how do you persuade them to sell?

Revenues - how much are they worth?

Its a complex situation. Do we want the revenues for FFP or the profit for the bottom line. If it's revenues how are we going to use that to our advantage when the amount to budget for FFP would be more than the profit, what will make up the shortfall. Once you know what we want it's still not...

Football League statement - Coventry City

Does anyone know at what point SISU have to provide evidence to the FL that they are actually building this new ground and what progress has been made. Surely with the season starting at the weekend they must have checked up on that by now.

Football League statement - Coventry City

I think you're arguing semantics. Prior the JR I certainly didn't expect any deal to be agreed, rental or other wise, that allowed the continuation of legal action against ACL, CCC or Higgs. I think it was generally accepted that one of the conditions ACL placed on any deal was the JR being...

Football League statement - Coventry City

True but Fisher has stated they have no choice and will have to appeal which doesn't sound to me like we've heard the last of the JR. If they weren't planning to appeal you would have thought it would be a wise move to mention it in this press release. Something along the lines of the money...

Football League statement - Coventry City

The JR is not concluded until the deadline for appeal has passed, so far every indication SISU have made is that they intend to appeal. So either SISU state that they won't be appealing or everyone just sits around waiting for the appeal deadline to pass to see what happens.

    Bradford match thread

I'd be happy with a draw. I'm more concerned about working out who everyone is in our side!

Football League statement - Coventry City

Where are people saying they don't want a rental return to the Ricoh? In at least some of the offers made by ACL prior to SISU moving the club away the dropping of legal action was a requirement for any deal to be completed so nothing has really changed on that front has it? To me its very...

Football League statement - Coventry City

But offset that against lost revenues, legal fees etc. Every change to save £118,808 they've had to spend more than that.

Football League statement - Coventry City

ACL have publically stated they will not talk until the outstanding amount is paid, now resolved, and SISU stop any further appeals or legal action. There has been no statement from ACL to say their stance has changed and there has been nothing from SISU to say they are dropping further legal...

Football League statement - Coventry City

Is that the first time recently they've said Coventry and not Coventry area? Wonder if that is just an error or something more deliberate? Sadly no mention not pursuing further legal action so I wouldn't have thought much chance of things moving forward.

    Football league meeting today?

There was doubt who actually had control over the money wasn't there? If its in escrow controlled by the FL and ready to go why isn't the FL just paying it today rather than stating SISU must pay it by next Thursday?

    Football league meeting today?

Now we need it paid ASAP to remove one block to talks. Lets hope the money doesn't suddenly disappear out of escrow before it reaches ACL. Just need SISU to say there won't be any appeal and everyone can start talking again. I suppose its too much to hope that common sense prevails.

    Football league meeting today?

what was the p in the £ offer in the CVA? it could be that they have taken the £300K paid to ACL off the amount owed prior to the p in the £ offer and then worked from there which is what Appleton should have done. Doesn't this now leave GR and MM a route to claim the money back off SISU, no...

    Fans Forum

That's my point, if it was £4m last year it should be £4m this year, if it isn't then the claim from SISU when we moved that there would be no financial impact due to the move as they could cover it is totally false. That's before you even consider the 750K for Clarke, £3m for Wilson and...

    Fans Forum

Those two statements seemed to contradict each other. We were told the move to Sixfields would not impact on budgets as SISU would cover any losses so how, despite several unexpected windfalls last season, can the playing budget be cut by 40%? Without the points deduction we wouldn't have made...

    Fans Forum

This is tonight and it's on CWR if anyone is still interested in the football side of things. Don't expect anything to do with the Ricoh or business side of things to be discussed, it's the usual start of the season forum. This year we've got SP, McFarlane and Waggott.

    Football league meeting today?

Had to chuckle, according to twitter Fisher has been telling people todays meeting is in Preston, not sure who he's meeting as everyone else is in London!

    Football league meeting today?

The FL prove themselves to be a joke once again. Something that, for us at least, is important and we have been pressing for a answer for a while and they can't even be bothered to make an announcement when Simon is there ready and waiting. As usual not a second to stop and think about the fans.
