Pressley really has lost the dressing room.

So because our current owners are incompetent we should welcome Wasps with open arms and ignore the potential long term damage? Yes SISU are useless but after SISU have gone we will hopefully have better owners and better owners would most likely want stadium ownership, now very difficult if not...

Pressley really has lost the dressing room.

They were actually being praised for it but gave a bizarre answer claiming they weren't making a big PR effort. That is exactly the kind of thing that is annoying people. If they keep saying one thing and doing the other then, exactly as with SISU, how is anyone supposed to believe anything they...

Pressley really has lost the dressing room.

You can't be one of our fans with this level of optimism on everything. The CCFC crest is being moved, they haven't stated to where yet. The seats remain but a far from convincing answer was given at the Q&A, i don't think anyone is confident they are remaining Sky Blue when they are in need...

    a) I have not said they are only in this to do damage to CCFC I am saying their actions are taking a very different course from their statements. If they had come in and said Wasps will have priority but they will do what they can to minimise the impact on CCFC then fair enough but they didn't...

Pressley really has lost the dressing room.

Whatever the guys name was, you get the point. As for the pitch do you really think they are doing that solely for our benefit. The only reason the pitch is being replaced is because they want a better pitch to play on themselves. I can understand that some people are OK with Wasps being here...

Pressley really has lost the dressing room.

Its very obvious SP is being diplomatic, after all we had a year of him saying similar things about Sixfields but as soon as we came back it was all about how much better the Ricoh was and how playing at Sixfields had been a hinderance. Neutral colour doesn't have to be beige, it doesn't mean...

Pressley really has lost the dressing room.

It's more that ever since they took over they've been banging on about how they understand our situation and will be considerate landlords and on Monday Richardson was avoiding the question. Days later we're booted out, seemingly before the away dressing room has had a refit. We've also lost the...

Pressley really has lost the dressing room.

They'd probably want to prepare in a room they have been using for years which also happens to have the best facilities rather than using a room which is just 'adequate'. Of course the room could always be a neutral colour to suit both teams but that would mean Wasps were being the understanding...

Again the Ricoh was designed as a multi purpose stadium and has been used by rugby teams before with no problems.

How on earth did they manage when there was rugby matches there before?

Pressley really has lost the dressing room.

In the same way there were ongoing discussions about the dressing rooms. Pretty sure the seats will be yellow and black at some point, just a matter of when. Wasps said all the right things when they first took over but we've been here before with SISU and actions speak larger than words. Now...

Pressley really has lost the dressing room.

We're often told about how fantastic the facilities at the Ricoh are, now we're moving to facilities which are 'adequate'. Don't see how this can be spun as anything but us being kicked out and given worse facilities. But there are a lot of idiots on here :p

    New pitch incoming

Indeed there's nothing wrong with PR but why come out and say it's not happening when it clearly is.

I agree, less discussion more this is what's happening if you don't like ti tough. Can't we just have a day with some good news for a change.

Pressley really has lost the dressing room.

I call BS on that. There were rumours before hand, hence the question being asked, and now it turns out we are being kicked out. Can't imagine it was still being discussed then, more inclined he didn't want to say to a group of our fans what was actually happening.

Pressley really has lost the dressing room.

Didn't the dressing room question get asked at the trust meeting the other day? Anyone remember what the response was as I don't remember it being yes we are kicking them out so did he avoid the question or flat out lie?

    The future

Might be worth such a thread requiring all posts to be approved by a mod to keep it to just questions and stop it descending into the usual slanging match.

The New Stadium-SISU please tell us the truth!!

In theory Warwick Uni would be decent but think you would need significant infrastructure improvements to avoid gridlock every matchday.

The New Stadium-SISU please tell us the truth!!

So if a new stadium would bring in £2m revenue and £1m profit a year how would that stack up against the likely costs of financing somewhere in the region of £40m? Of course if we rent long term we forgo that income but I would think a rent deal could be struck at a far lower annual cost than...

The New Stadium-SISU please tell us the truth!!

If you were buying land without planning permission wouldn't you be able to sell it on at a later date for roughly the same price?
