    I feel sick

Prior to this there was a hope that if SISU didn't buy the ground someone would come in and buy the club and ground. Unless Wasps buy is, which is unlikely to say the least, we are now a lot less attractive proposition to any potential buyer, it's not like they were queuing up before so how hard...

    Badge coming down :(

But they couldn't get to the end of the 3 year or 5 year period without presenting some evidence to the FL of the new ground being built. As I said you can argue how little evidence might have been required but it just wasn't possible, unless what we were being told was incorrect, that they...

    I feel sick

Couldn't they have done that at Leicester or Northampton if they were that desperate?

    I feel sick

I can't see a single positive. We, as a city, have aided the removal of a club from it's home. We are up alongside Milton Keynes now. It will have a negative effect on CCFC and CRFC, where are the positives?

    I feel sick

I find it thoroughly depressing. The thought of going to a Wasps branded ground to see our home games is sickening. SISU certainly created a situation that allowed this to happen and failed to act at every point they could have raised a valid objection but equally the council and Higgs have...

    Badge coming down :(

Why didn't they just put the Wasps one where they've put ours? They wouldn't have that weird mark left where our crest was and there's being black and yellow it wouldn't be a problem with it being partially on a white background. To be honest I agree, at least with the Sixfields move there was...

CRFC not affected by WASPS arrival!

The 1000 that go to CRFC aren't going to walk away overnight, it will be a longer term problem. Two things spring to mind to me: 1) where will the next generation of CRFC fans come from, kids will have the choice of going to see Wasps in the top tier or CRFC playing a lower standard of...

    New food kiosks opening

I'm not convinced there's going to be a huge bump in attendances just because you can now buy a pie!

    New food kiosks opening

Why are we (as in the official site) advertising this when it doesn't benefit us? It's hardly cutting edge cuisine is it, burgers, chips, pies, pizza and beer. Never buy anything more than a cuppa at a game when it's cold but what the hell was on offer before if this is some amazing new concept?

    Parking on Sunday

If CRFC keep up this form and actually get promoted would the Butts still be suitable for them? If not that idea might have some merit. We could join up with them on a new stadium project. Would be very hard for the council to not support that.

    SCG minutes for December 4th

They get 'abuse' on here and elsewhere because of the way they conduct themselves when they are supposed to be our representatives. How about instead of just hiding away they all sign up on here and justify their actions. If they believe they are in the right and acting in our best interests...

    wasps

I'm increasingly concerned at how often I agree with Grendel recently but this is spot on. SISU's plan worked perfectly apart from the fact that after distressing ACL someone else nipped in and got it on the cheap before SISU. If we had of kept paying the ridiculously high rent this wouldn't...

    Difference Between Articles

Matty, I do work with 2 London based companies who have a working relationship with ACL, staff at both companies have been offered free tickets. There's been several posts from people on here who have been offered free tickets. If they've trying to paper the crowd to bump up the attendance...

Wasps likely to beat Aviva Premiership attendance record

The 3,500 figure being thrown around is just the ones that have gone to kids. There's loads more freebies floating around not to mention all the companies who have any association with the Ricoh or Wasps have been given discount codes to distribute to all their staff.

    Letter from Pressley (Email)

Totally agree with you Grendel but I'm sure that won't stop those who seem enamoured with Wasps pointing out how fantastic their attendances are over and over again. Think it will be next season that will be the real indication. Imagine there will be a lot less tickets floating around by then...

    Dressing rooms not a drama

From what he's saying one room is now just for Wasps (which used to be our room) and another room is just for us (the new one) and then there's a neutral away room. Won't they need to add a second neutral room for use at other events. Wasn't that the whole point of not having our branding all...

    Dressing rooms not a drama

Depends if he was prompted or not. If he's asked what he thinks of the dressing room situation he's not likely to start having a pop at Wasps is he? Don't think the dressing room itself will be an issue, assuming its of a decent standard, not being able to use the warm up area is a bigger downside.

A giant Wasp at the Ricoh

Surely in this day and age there could be system in place where the tunnel was Wasps branded for their games and changed when we are playing there.

CCFC Merchandise - "Look what you could have won"

Same here, when I get to games early I'd go in the shop and inevitably end up buying some junk I didn't really need. Between that a purchase or two off the website I'd probably spend at least £200 a year. Now there's nothing on the website and no shop at the ground so they've not had a penny out...
