I just don't think Da Silva suits the kind of high tempo counter game we'll need to beat these, he wants 5 touches every time the ball is with him and he's not even as quick as Bidwell. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

He's poor because he's been poor in general for us, most recently last week where he gifted the opposition a goal with some harebrained play in his own box. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

Not keen, can see Simms being isolated in the box. The box formation works best when you've got a midfielder willing to run beyond the striker - perhaps O'Hare's game includes that now but we shall see.

Part of that though is how we used him, Dabo looked good at RWB and linked up well with O'Hare in particular, we need more of that. Earlier on in the season we often just passed the ball out to MVE pinned to the touchline without any of our players within 15 yards of him. If there is a short...

Just thought I'd look up Aaron Phillips after being reminded of his goal away at Wolves. He's only 30 but has been without a club for nearly 3 years. It just shows how difficult it is to sustain a career, and some of the much criticised academy graduates are in reality exceptional footballers...

Do we need to set up like we did at Leeds? West Brom are not a free scoring team, it's their defensive record that is the strongest part of their game.

Well they've lost the seat now anyway and the attack lines were opened up regardless

To be fair to them they turned 4 defeats on the spin into a run of 1 defeat in 20 games, playing all of the top 4 sides in that period. After each recent defeat we've won the following game. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

Gyokeres is probably feeling the benefit of 34 league matches a season in a more pleasant climate, it'll give him a physical edge over being kicked from pillar to post 46 times a season for us in the British climate. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

And they've completely re-laid the pitch, they bought some cryogenic device to help with recovery from injury too. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

Agree with you, the theory was widely reported by all of the mainstream media as well so Labour could have defended it better imo. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

The accounts talk about a net transfer spend of £8m subsequent to the 31 May but don't mention anything about the transfer income, not sure why that is? Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

I wouldn't say we are in brilliant shape, the operating loss is £7m which is a third of turnover. It's only in the football world that this sort of annual loss is tolerated every year. It'll be interesting to see if any of that loss can be plugged this year. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
