    Unbelievable club

Buying home tickets on line is reasonably easy. Buying tickets for away matches that are going to sell out is a lottery on line or on the phone. I was unable to get tickets in the away section at Exeter. On line and on the phone at 9am but by then they seemed to have sold out. We bought tickets...

Sitting in the home stand at Notts county

If you are respectful of the home support and don’t jump about if we score then I can’t see the problem. I’ve been in the home end a few times at various away games and never had a problem.

Guess The Crowd v Notts County

I have just been having a read of the CT website. It has a quote from Boddy saying that the Jimmy Hill flag won’t be passed over fans as it is quite delicate. The bit that caught my eye was when he said it will be staying in it’s usual place. It doesn’t therefore look as if he expects that...

A Visit to Coventry: Hope Springs Eternal

I thought this was lovely, great to read such a positive piece. However I also really like the Lonely Season reports and their spangledangle words.

Will our fans behave at County?

I can only remember the pig protest. Don’t remember any tennis balls.

Will our fans behave at County?

Thousands of people took part in marches or various protests last season. If they were doing it for getting their face in the telegraph or for getting those “back slaps” then most of them failed. I remember the older chap in his wheel chair who had been following the team for so long he had seen...

Will our fans behave at County?

Funny how the Charlton fans protested at both games and they picked up four points to our one. If you are a Charlton fan the obvious think to do is protest more as it helps the team. There is no proof at all that any of the protests contributed to the team’s failings. Look at how many other soft...

Will our fans behave at County?

If the sole purpose of the protests was to remove the owners then you are right, they didn’t work. For me, and I think for lots of others, they were a way of saying that what this crowd have done and are doing to this club is not right. The alternative was to sit back and just watch. The...

Will our fans behave at County?

The mindless running on to the pitch on Saturday and after goals at other games this season have nothing in common with protests that have gone on over the past few years. The purpose of these was to raise the proflle of the plight of the club in the local and national media. Not the same thing...

Guess The Crowd v Notts County

I agree. We really chased the Crewe game which left us open. A draw, even a narrow defeat still leaves the tie in the balance.

Guess The Crowd v Notts County

I like wine gums but prefer jelly babies if asked.

    They thinks its all Over

I don’t think away goals count. Isn’t it extra time and the pens. Advantage of playing at home in the second leg.

Match Thread Coventry City vs Notts County Match Thread - Saturday 12th May

I hope the officials look out this time for their trick of impeding Burge at corners.

    Who ever yesterday....

I hate the fact that Wasps are here and I look forward to the day that they are gone and the stadium that was built for CCFC finally belongs to CCFC. I also hate all of the Wasps paraphernalia around the stadium including their posters. However, sticking them down the toilet and urinating on...

    George Hudson

David Cross was another good Centre forward. Like Neil Martin, surprisingly skilful for a big man. I was at Everton, first game of the season, when he scored a hat trick and we won 4-1. Chilton came with a big reputation for scoring goals at Hull but, for what ever reason, wasn’t able to do the...

A question about our club badge..

Isn't Cauldon Castle in Cauldon Park supposed to be the birthplace of St George? As far as I know our crest is the only one in England to feature the cross of St George.

    George Hudson

We have had lots of good Centre forwards over the years. Gould,Fergie and Dublin were all favourites of mine. I thought Neil Martin was a really good player too, exceptional in the air. My overall favourite would be Ian Wallace. I only saw Hudson play for Tranmere against us. Do you think he...

    Cov fans fighting eachother

I was thinking more about the 4K who went to Notts Co. Probably a good number of those weren’t ST holders.

    Biamou or JCH ?

Comes down to which one is the most effective in games for me. At the moment that is Biamou. He works the centre halfs better, is better in the air and in recent games has been more of a presence. I also think he is more skilful. I am not sure that JCH is the answer up front.
