    Ethics Commitee Meeting Tomorrow

Interesting idea. When the JR case was going on I did wonder why CCC didn't get someone from YB to come and give evidence. Say that SISU approached them about a lo-ball offer they would never have accepted. All seemed a bit tin foil hat but it would have been an obvious thing to do in my opinion.

    Tonights fixtures

Its highly unlikely we'll stay top from now until the end of the season. Need to keep in the mix at the moment and see where we are when the transfer window closes.

    Ethics Commitee Meeting Tomorrow

They might have done something unthinkable like raise millions against the stadium to pay the rest and pay themselves back :thinking about:

    Coventry's Worst Hotels/Establishments

I was a teen in the late 80s / early 90s. Age checking was virtually non-existent. We had the police in the school to give the don't do drugs talk and they said outright that they weren't bothered about underage drinkers etc so long as they weren't causing trouble. Times have changed.

    Maddison Feels Stronger than Ever!

Great news. And for a change we're in a position where we don't have to rush a player as good as him straight back into the team. With things going the way they are there's plenty of time for him to get a few games in with the U21s and some 15 - 30 min run outs as a sub with the first team.

Supporters' group tells Coventry City FC owners to clarify stadium plans

There's nothing on their website, Facebook or twitter. All a bit odd. Last thing we heard was elections were due and a lot of people weren't standing again. Haven't heard of any meetings since then and now we've got a random statement attributed to them.

The rate the value is increasing it must be worth about £250m by now.

Do you mean the one that was Theatre One or was there an actual porn cinema? I assume this was in the days before home video.

    Armstrong staying

Its not too far fetched that if they let him stay he ends up with a L1 winners medal and is the divisions top scorer. If, as seems likely, Newcastle are in the Championship next season he'd be going into their side sky high on confidence. And if they somehow manage to stay up we'll have him...

    Wasps getting desperate

Why would anyone need to buy a ticket for Saturday. You got one for this weekend for a quid when you got one for the last match. Between the free drinks (not the first time this season), virtually free tickets and subsidising the Buzzcocks gig I'd love to see how the figures add up.

    Best goal you remember.....

I quite like Clive and Geoff to be honest. Think they get a bit too much stick for what can't be an easy job, especially doing the phone in. Don't think i'd be able to do it without swearing at people and putting the phone down on them!

    Ethics Commitee Meeting Tomorrow

It's interesting, well annoying actually, when you look back at just matchday revenues being offered for £24m and the formula price for the Higgs share of £10m, or even what we would have paid over the term of the rental agreement and compare it to what anyone else put in. Be that Wasps, CCC or...

    Ethics Commitee Meeting Tomorrow

CCC could veto that sale couldn't they? Exactly, SISU were the only interested party who did not require stadium ownership. Is it coincidence that they were the preferred bidder by CCC? In part I think you're right. For me there's three distinct phases under SISU. First we had Ranson who at...

Supporters' group tells Coventry City FC owners to clarify stadium plans

Did I miss the SBT elections? I remember Steve coming on here saying he wasn't doing it anymore but it all seemed to go quiet after that. Not had any emails or seen anything about meetings.

    Ethics Commitee Meeting Tomorrow

It was just reported as a fact at the time across local media. Don't think anyone realised the significance so it wasn't questioned. The American lot (Manhattan Group?) had a meeting with the council and quickly got on a plane back to the States never to be heard from again. There was reports of...
