Is there a Halfords nearby? Maybe it came out of their skip!

    Statement by Councillor Ann Lucas

It's pretty simple to me. In my opinion CCC have a responsibility to serve the city of Coventry and the people of Coventry. They're aren't a private business and as such should operate in a different manner. I believe two things should have happened with regard to the sale of ACL 1) CCFC should...

    club shop a joke

Even if Puma can't supply shirts, which I find hard to believe, it can't be hard to find some random Puma stuff that's blue and stick our badge on it. Or even non Puma stuff. Suggests a cashflow / credit problem to me. To be fair I'd want cash up front off SISU!

    Statement by Councillor Ann Lucas

I am not a Coventry resident which means they are not answerable to me but I did try and was told it was confidential. Totally agree and I have consistently said SISU should have made an offer. That doesn't absolve CCC & Higgs of their responsibilities. I'm not saying SISU would have said...

I did, don't see anything there that indicates CCC & Higgs offered the same deal to CCFC they offered to Wasps.

So are you saying CCC didn't offer CCFC the same deal as Wasps before selling it to them? That's the question I want answer. That's it, not who said what before or after.

    Statement by Councillor Ann Lucas

That's why I've long said the type of deal Wasps have been given is the ideal solution. CCC retain the freehold but CCFC, or now Wasps, have effective ownership and all the income. Terms could be put in the deal that say, for example, ACL and CCFC must remain in the same company.

When did CCC offer them that deal?

They've paid £5.6m for a 250 year lease, I think it was said CCFC are less than 10% of ACL's revenue so on that basis £2,240 a year should be a fair price for CCFC to get all the money they generate. Think they'll agree to that?

Simple solution, CCC say match Wasps offer and its yours.

Why £30m, Bournemouth built a new ground for well under £10m. That's why SISU need to present a business case. Show me that a move to a new stadium is the best proposition and I have no problem with backing it.

The casuals are a weird one to gauge. Maybe the 30K that turn up for Chelsea / JPT final / Gills game would all turn up for the first game at a new ground. If they did then it would be up to the club to retain them. Losing supporters is never good but if you for example lose 5K while gaining 10K...

My stance is simple. I just want to know if CCC & Higgs offered CCFC the same deal they did with Wasps. That's it, a simple yes / no answer. I don't care what spin, posturing or any other phrase you choose to pick any side engaged in before or after. We know all sides have come out with crap so...

    Statement by Councillor Ann Lucas

SISU are absolutely responsible for he state of the football club I agree. However we know what SISU are and we know that ultimately their motive is to make money out of our club. The motive of the council should be very different. I think SISU have said and done entirely the wrong thing at...

My Dad's the same, he's stopped going and has very little interest now. But are they people who would not be going anyway. A debatable point I would suggest. If done right and presented as a bright future for the club (with evidence not just soundbites) could people be persuaded back?

Do you think Wasps are going to give us 365 day revenue at the Ricoh? You can't put a figure on it due to the geographical layout of the country. You use common sense which seems to be a difficulty for a lot of people on here. If we moved to Leicester, Birmingham, Wolverhampton etc that would...

This has already been mentioned to day and I don't think it in any way answers the question I want an answer to. I want to know if CCC offered CCFC the same deal they offered Wasps. I can't imagine Fisher giving any other answer at this point. What comment did you expect "I've spectacularly...

    New David Conn article

I find that a very odd stance to take. If SISU came out and clearly evidenced that it is the only option for the survival of the club and the new stadium will be as close as possible to the city boundary why would supporters refuse to go. Just seems odd to me.
