    Albany Meeting ?

I suggested oh here protesting at a Wasps game to show our plight. I would be up for that if you organise it.

    Albany Meeting ?

You have a monopoly on supporting the team? Funny, but for well over fifty years I have supported the team home and away. I will be at Luton and as always I will be shouting for our team to win. That doesn’t mean that if there is something organised by the Trust and I agree with it, I wouldn’t...

    Albany Meeting ?

The Trust are made up of ordinary people as far as I can see, jobs, families like most of us but they are pilloried even though they give up their time to try and help the club. As I said, if they fold the problems that our club face still exist. Why would you stating “Sisu Out” help me to...

    Albany Meeting ?

If I was fan of another club coming on here for the first time, looking at opinions and read this thread, I would conclude that the biggest threat to the future of Coventry City is the Sky Blue Trust. So much anger and vitriol aimed at a small group of City fans. Far more anger in fact, than is...

Match Thread Rochdale vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 9th Feb

Yes, it’s hard being a cowboy in Rochdale!

Is this whole thing a Haskell Mk2?

I was disputing the point about what made good owners. Why would I want to thank the council for ensuring we got Sisu?

Is this whole thing a Haskell Mk2?

I think most sensible people wouldn’t just expect someone to come in and lose a shed load of money. What they would want, particularly after the experience of Sisu running (ruining) the club, is to have owners who clearly care, who are transparent and who communicate. I think a lot of difficult...

Is this whole thing a Haskell Mk2?

A quarter of a million people on the streets after the cup win, surely the largest ever gathering in the city centre. Production in local factories improved in the week after a win. Just two examples of the impact the local football team can have. Even for those who don’t go, the football club...

Is this whole thing a Haskell Mk2?

The reason why I would despise Sisu and I am sure it is the same for other people is not because they didn’t chuck millions at us. That isn’t the issue at all. It is the totally incompetent way that they have run the club which has resulted in the Northampton fiasco, losing the chance to buy...

    Surprising new development

It is amazing that even when something like this is pointed out the same crew try to pick holes in it.

    Surprising new development

If this is actually a pheonix Trust, wouldn’t that actually make them, according to one or two posters rather bizarre logic, the Trust for Cov Utd or Cov Sphinx? Somebody ought to tell them.

Match Thread Rochdale vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 9th Feb

I agree with most of what you say here. However Luton were one of the few teams this season that I thought deserved to beat us. That said I still think we can give them a good game. We are possibly a stronger team with Meyler and Enobakhare than we were in the first game against them.

    Legends Day

He was a pundit at a game at the Ricoh a few years ago. For some reason he wasn’t in the gantry at the back of the stand at the start of the game. He actually walked around the pitch perimeter and then up the stairs to the gantry. He was clapped all of the way, got a really good reception...

    Surprising new development

David Johnson doesn’t lead the Trust.

    Surprising new development

Yes but is the new Trust a pheonix Trust? If it is can they really claim the old Trust’s history? On the basis that I would support an AFC Coventry City and feel for it, believe in it and treat it the same as the original CCFC, (if the latter disappeared) in my opiion, they are one and the same!

    The protest

I agree, I think they should put it on here, publicise what their aims are. What reception do you think the usual crew will give them?
  18. Irish Sky Blue

    The protest

Not aimed at you, but I don’t think so. The point from some on here is to sneer and make snide comments. Read through and I think you will see what I mean.

CCFC are being discussed at Westminster today

So rather than being pleased that someone in a position of power and influence has said that they want to help with the situation we are in, we chose to snipe at the person who has managed to get them involved.

    The protest

I’ve read through the whole thread and can’t see anyone stating that they will not say what the protests are about. The nearest is LAST asking why would they bother coming on here to say, when they will be shot down by many of the posters above. I can’t see a post by anyone who claims to be an...
