To be fair our b&b was clean and the food was good. Only 50 yards down the road though we seen an off licence been robbed,then the following night nearest pub to us had a window put through. As someone said I wouldn’t go back there again unless it was for football.

One of the most exciting games i ever attended. Incredible atmosphere in the West End that night. We all went ballistic when that 3rd goal went in hoping that would take us to Wembley. 10,000 of us at Upton Park for the 2nd leg. Never felt so pissed off after a match as that night

I’ve often thought that as a kid growing up in Cov late sixties and early seventies. At the time i was probably too young to appreciate how good our local sports teams were. My mate reckons as regards the rugby we got left behind when teams turned professional and we stayed as an amateur rugby club.

Me too been told if it’s not here by tomorrow I have to get in touch to arrange replacement tickets. Then pick them up at Readings ticket office on the Saturday. Bloody ordered and paid for them 2 weeks ago 😡
