    Mark Robins Manager Statistics

The question would be, if Russel Slade had the same budget as Robins would we have done as well over the past 2 and a half years? Managers aren’t miracle workers and they obviously need the tools to work with. However wouldn’t the mark of a good manager be how they used the tools at their...

Match Thread Portsmouth vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 20th Aug

After games like that I really enjoy reading threads like this. I particularly enjoy reading the posts where it has all gone wrong on the pitch, the same old posters are in uproar, with hindsight, I know that it all came good in the end and I know those same posters all got egg on their faces...

    Matty godden

I like him and think he will be a good player for us and will score goals. However, Did he pull out of a couple of challenges tonight? First one could have been a clever decision as I think he would have clashed heads with the Portsmouth player. The second one though, in the second half, I felt...

    Exciting loan tomorrow?

I Have to say that although I watched City play Doncaster twice last season, I have no idea who Herbie Kane is except that he is a footballer. From the reaction of Doncaster fans and people on here, I am assuming he is a good player. Stuart Linnel was apparently going to tell Juggy who the new...

    Exciting loan tomorrow?

Watching the Quest EFL roundup on Saturday, it was mentioned at the start of the Doncaster clip that their were were excited as Heriberto Kane had been spotted at the match and the feeling was he was going to sign for them again. Means nothing really, same as Bright seen/not seen at St Andrews.

    The ever improving Brandon Mason

The thing I notice with him is that he is always on the move. He makes a pass and he is immediately finding space to get the all back again.

    Oggy on the radio

I think Oggy is okay. He puts over his point of view well and knows what he is talking about. Sometimes it is difficult to listen to footballers on the radio or TV as they either talk in cliches, won’t say how things really are for fear of getting into bother or just find it hard to talk...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Bristol Rovers Match Thread - Saturday 17th Aug

Westbrook’s assist was for Hiwula’s second goal. His shot was deflected into Hiwula’s path.

No that was against West Brom in the Checkatrade I think. Great goal. Unlikely goalscorer.

    10 weeks - any news ?

Assuming you mean the Trust? As they seem to have no intention of asking anything of Wasps or the council I think that that one is a dead duck. I think we can leave them out of the equation. What can we do to get the ideas you have mentioned working?

    10 weeks - any news ?

Assuming that the Trust are not going to do this, would it be possible to put one together from this forum? I would think that it needs to be an institution rather than just individuals. It would also need to be taken up by both traditional and social media.

Okay, I’m up for that. How do we get the media to put pressure on them? How do we get them to answer questions and how do we get to be a constant annoyance? Whatever we do, we need to do it soon and get the ball rolling.

    10 weeks - any news ?

If this is true, what is the upshot? Do we just sit on our hands and let things carry on around us? Why aren’t there protests at what the council are doing? Hard to see that the telegraph could ignore several hundred City fans who protest outside the council house. I would be up for this, would you?

    10 weeks - any news ?

What is being said is about putting pressure on all sides including Sisu. I agree that the way that they will fund it will be through the sale of players. That will affect what MR can do on the pitch. As mentioned in the posts I have made above, why are we as a body of fans letting Duggins and...

    10 weeks - any news ?

One idea that has come up a few times would be to protest inside the Ricoh at a Wasps game. If it were possible to organise for even a hundred City fans to congregate in an agreed part of the stadium, wearing sky blue singing pro CCFC songs. If it was a televised game even better, make sure we...

    10 weeks - any news ?

I agree that there is a minimal amount that fans can do. At the moment placid acceptance seems to be the default position. Both Wasps and CCC could say that most City fans are accepting the situation. That is not right. Even if we can’t change things, shouldn’t we still show our discontent? The...

    10 weeks - any news ?

Sisu will have to make up the short fall from the poor crowds at St Andrews. While it is certainly CCFC who are being distressed and the fans, it must be costing Sisu millions to sustain a club playing in Birmingham for a year. Our absence is costing Sisu more than it is costing Wasps (if...
