I think the problem that the producers would have, is that a lot of the cast have gone from relative unknowns, to really famous and in demand actors and getting them all in one place for a new series would be very difficult.

King Nidge is one of the all time great tv anti heroes. His transformation from low level gang member and doting family man, to the monster he became is standout writing. From what I`ve read, the new series is going to be a spin off about the Gypsy lad that Nidge was at war with.

I wouldn`t describe it as scary at all, more that it slowly becomes unsettling, up until the final act, where it really does become frightening.

The Presence. One of those films you`ll either love or hate. Not a horror film, but more of a slow burning supernatural film. The camera work takes a bit of getting used, to as it`s filmed as though you`re looking through the eyes of " the presence ". A seemingly well off and happy family...

Landman. Billy Bob Thornton effortlessly carries the whole thing, other than that it pretty much watched like a soap opera, interspersed with bouts of violence. Disappointing.

Apart from the whole series being one of the best cop dramas of all time, with one of the all time great anti heroes in Vic Mackay, the final episode is a template on how to finish a series with a proper bang. ( as horrible to watch as it is )

Second series of Silo, is like watching two different things ( imo ) Sarah Ferguson as Juliette in the second silo, is really engaging and you identify with her character, however all of the other goings on in the original silo are just dull and don`t really hold your interest, so you`re not...

I`ve just started and it`s one of those rarities, in that it`s an outstanding series from Netflix. The attention to detail is off the scale, great cast, well written and brutal in equal measure. I`m assuming that you`ve watched the other outstanding Western series - Godless ? ( again on...

Just finished series three of - From. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, I`m just struggling to see where they go with it without some kind of big reveal. It`s starting to feel a bit like the old series Lost, where it keeps getting weirder and weirder, with no real end in sight.

Gene Hunt is one of the all time great tv characters, to that point, that he almost completely overshadowed the character of Sam Tyler. I used to work in an office like that, everyone smoked at their desk, soft porn calendars on the walls and everyone went on the piss together at least once a...

Spot on. Considering it was basically a straight lift of the Dracula story, Nosferatu went onto inspire so many other vampire films. For a film that was made in the early 1920`s it`s incredibly sleek and stylish too.

This is one you called easily overlook and is the rarity, in that it`s an excellent Netflix series. Unbelievable ( 8 parts ) Dramatisation of the true story, of the hunt for a serial rapist in and around the Colorado area. The first rape victim, being a young girl, who not only did the...

    Rob Èdwards gone at Luton

He doesn`t get called The Dycheosaurus for nothing. Nine men behind the ball, no matter who the opposition is, wingers who double as full backs, full backs who rarely cross the half way line, aimless hoofballs to an isolated striker, hoping for a goal from a set play, throwing the players under...

    Running

I think it was a Yorkshire thing to be honest, as they tend to be quite " blunt " bunch - I should know I`m married to one. Conversely, the Llangollen Fell race was the polar opposite, despite there being some elite runners there, it was very friendly, with a totally different atmosphere to the...

    Running

I`ve only done a couple, as my experiences of the fell running community hasn`t been great to be honest - not a very friendly bunch ( I swore I`d never do another race in Yorkshire after one, as there was a lady really struggling in some proper nasty weather on the moors, at the back of the pack...

    Running

Thanks for that. The one and only time I`ve had to do scrambling was on the race up and down Snowdon. My usual runs are in the Yorkshire Dales, The Cumbrian Fells and forest races of varying gradients dependant on where they are - Delamere will be quite flat, where as ones in the Lakes can...

Hello mate, I`m new to the forum, but a massive trail runner, nowhere in your league, but I`ve done lots of races all over Cumbria, North Wales, North Yorks and Lancashire. I`m just about to do my first race of the year next weekend - Montane Delamere Half and then got one race a month booked...

Nosferatu. Visually stunning, with beautiful, but stark cinematography, production and outstanding sets too. Here`s something i thought I`d never say, Nicholas Hoult is outstanding as one of the leads, well supported by Ralph Ineson and a completely over the top Willem Defoe. Bill Skarsgard...

I`ve read the first book a few times, so having a working knowledge of the plot really helps. I`ve watched both films a few times now and I`m still picking things up every time I watch it again.
