Yes, agree on the fixtures. We could indeed be chasing them all the way down to the wire if they do beat Crewe and we fail to beat Notts County.

I didn't see it coming either. I did predict a draw and good God I would have taken that now this evening. Worry is Notts County on Saturday. In a poor run of form but still only two defeats at home all season. We canot afford to lose.

    The Run In

It's unbelievable that Mansfield have no wins in the last 7 games, but that they could overtake us with a win on Saturday . Let's hope their poor form contunues, because they have a very decent list of fixtures for the rest of the season.

The clock is ticking again Robins...

They do, but I kind of get the feeling that Robins WOULD play him.

    The Run In

This Saturday's fixtures That big loss today could come back and haunt us. Really damaged our goal difference. Mansfield are at home to Crewe. If they win that even a draw against Notts County will have us out of the playoff places. Would have a said previously that a draw at Notts County...

Who was it who passed the ball to Doyle? So much of today was a blur.

Not disagreeing with you. Probably all Chinese Whispers.

The clock is ticking again Robins...

Yep. All down to the players today. MR was right to sub Vincenti and I agreed with the Barrett for Haynes decision too. We very nearly got right back in the game at one point, so I don't think we can blame Robins. My guess is that if Baker had got match fit he would have been in today ahead...

He seemed to make all the wrong decisions today.

    Biamou

Yep. I wouldn't drop JCH though. Drop Vincenti and play Biamou wide.

Same here. Thought Haynes was poor all game, whereas at least Grimmer looked quite good going forwards.

Wasn't sure that was him at the time, but have now marked him down. Definitely partly at fault, along with Doyle.

Yep, fair point. Why on earth did he not track the forward to his left?

I'd keep the switch, Biamou for Vincenti. Leave JCH and McNumpty up front

    Just needs some perspective

I think that's as close as we're ever going to get from you for praise on the lad, Grendel. I thought he did very well and could easily have had a hat trick. I would keep him in, in place of Vincenti for Saturday and that's now 3 goals in 2 games from him.
