I think that it is really hard to have an objective opinion about a player whose performance you haven’t seen. For some, Biamou and Bakayoko will never be given credit no matter how they play. Last night they were both excellent, both scored but still not good enough for some.

We scored the equaliser against Doncaster in injury time. They scored earlier in the second half.

You have spent the entire season complaining about Bakayoko and how he needs to be shipped out. Now you’ve started on Godden. It’s a good job that we have a manager who is far more consistent than some of the fans.

I enjoyed it. I enjoyed seeing us more than match, at times out play a team from a higher division. It shows what a good team we are for the level that we play at and it also shows that, even at this stage, we might be able to compete at the level above. A performance to be proud of.

I wonder what the statistics for that would be? I would say that the win ratio would be overwhelmingly in favour of the higher placed team. We played two games away from home against a team from a higher division, matched them goals wise over 120 minutes, but anyone at those games knows that we...

Did you see his performance tonight? If you did then you will know how well he played.

We played so well in both of the games against Birmingham, two games away from home against a team from a higher league. The players both played and worked their socks off. There was nothing embarrassing in that performance. We were the better team over both games and only just fell short. I...

Are they closing Ikea? I have always thought that that building was such an eyesore when you think that the beautiful Spon Street is next door. Most things new in the City Centre seem to be student related so if Ikea goes that is probably what will happen. Having a new stadium there would...

I agree. It’s not that the Ricoh is a bad ground. It is the mess that has gone on for the past 15 years that I am on about.

With hindsight it is easy to see that the move from HR was a huge mistake. For all it’s faults, I wish we had never moved.

Have we just become a “Selling Club” or have we always been one?

A selling club, yes. I think that the difference these days is that players who come through the academy or are signed very young like McCallum are only with us for little more than a season as a first team player. The equivalent to Maddison in the seventies would have been Dennis Mortimer. He...

The Baseball ground was also one of the worst to actually watch the game. Some areas of terracing were below pitch level.

    Bright Enobakahre

There were no rumours of him being disruptive when he was here last year. His performances were good. Robins seemed to manage him fine and according to Boddy, they made a 600k bid for him in the summer. Seems like he has gained a bad reputation based on his social media nonsense and rumours of...

    Transfer Rumour Sam McCallum gone

I just don't get this 'hardcore' more supportive St Andrew's crowd. Where I sit a lot of the people around and about are far more negative than anything I heard at the Ricoh.

Disagree. He has improved as time has gone on but you could see in his first game for us (Blackpool?) just what a classy player he was.

Maybe mistaken then as I can't remember meeting up with Blues fans to get in. Remember being high up and looking over the Kop Stand. I did think the bit we were in had only a limited number of rows but again might be wrong. I was at that end for the cup game where Gary McCalister scored the...

We did have the top tier too. We were in it. On that occasion I am sure the figure put out was 6k away supporters in a 16k crowd.
