Got nothing personal or bad to say about Godden, great player for the club, good bagsman, but it happens the team has evolved massively and he's unfortunately not up to our level anymore, sad but will be a great asset for a top League 1 side or a newly promoted Championship side.

I think giving him slightly less defensive responsibility ie with Sheaf and Stamenic and having a little bit more free reign I think he'll be a very good player for us. Already showed glimpses of what he can do.

Being linked to quite a few Central midfielders, any word on which ones are more likely, Barron, Brown, Sanchez, Kyprianou? Sounds as if Stamenic is as good as done so need maybe 1 more if Allen leaves and a CAM in which Sanchez can play.

Will probably be a godden replacement/upgrade when he inevitably moves on. Especially if Wright will play wide at times too, need an extra body in the forward line

If Eccles gets a big move then I'd want Sanchez, Stamenic and Browne. With Torp thrown in the mix I'd be happy with that going forward.

Sheaf +Stamenic double pivot, stick Torp in front of them, Wright/EMC and Sakamoto on wings. Sounds good to me
